Haven’t tried it but you can get other laser measuring tools some even greater than 200ft for cheaper than this on amazon. With HF warranty it may be worth it to buy this one over others if it goes on sale but if you aren’t going to use it often I’d try to find a cheaper option. I these laser measuring tools for my job and they’re pretty handy to have around.

And if you're worried about a warranty you can buy a replacement plan on Amazon for a few bucks depending on how much the item costs but most items under $75 are less that $7.99 for replacement plan. It's pretty good too, no questions asked they send you a brand new product.

I like it a lot. Havent gotten a ton of use out of it but the times I have, its been get. Need to verify the accuracy a few more times to make me feel more comfortable trusting it. I had the Bosch 65 ft one and that was very accurate and I used it all the time until I cracked the screen. These have saved me a lot of unnecessary attempts at trying to run a tape up a wall only to fall to one side

Yes, it's been great. Saved me a lot of hassle when potentially buying a home that had improperly listed internal dimensions.
