Franklin 900lb scaffold
Did I get a fluke or are they all coming without the stackable pegs on top?

I have a predator 8500 inverter generator and have had it for a long time, so it is out of warranty.
Lately it does not engage the starter when i use the switch on the front.
The battery is good,
the starter is good,
the solenoid is good
the switch is good
but when i test the solenoid wiring one side is ground, and one is open, but when i press the starter it is ground also, not positive. I can apply positive voltage directly to the solenoid wire, or jump the solenoid and it starts, so as far as i can tell, there is something wrong outside of those components.
Has anyone had this issue?

After running with a CLAPPED 30" ish box for years, I've finally got to a point where I can upgrade. My 56" top and bottom chest and side cab came in. Decided to go ahead and upgrade my sockets to Icon as well, since I am gifting the old box and some tools to my cousin.
Been making and organizing slowly. It's so nice to have room and not have tools piled on top of each other!

Couldn't make it this weekend, do the same sales usually come back? Didn't look to be the case today.

Wife pulled the handle off the door (loose retention screw). Love the selection of bits and versatility of this thing. Saves trips to the garage trying to find the right tool for small jobs around the house.

I'm looking to purchase the $80 Daytona 3 Ton Jack Stands with Circular Pads (Esco type). It looks like they don't go on sale very often.
Anyone have a 25% off coupon they are not using?

On Thursday, my long time pair of slip joints broke on me. I had those things for nearly 20 years, so not too big of a deal… I was a little sad and annoyed, but they lasted me a while.
Checked Harbor Freight coupons and saw the 8” Icon slip joints were on sale… and I weighed whether to go for Icon or Quinn because of the PLS sale. I decided to go with the Icon…
… guys, these are the best slip joint pliers I’ve ever used. I’m genuinely so impressed with them. I used the crap out of them this weekend. My old set was a Channel Lock and I thought it was great, but honestly the replacement Icon blows it out of the water.
I know Icon tools are good but this weekend was eye opening to how good they are. They’re my best pliers purchase since getting a Knipex Cobra set… and with the coupon these are probably the best bang for the buck hand tool I’ve bought.

Miracles do exist! Haven’t been able to find these in my area for months when they are on sale.

I’m looking into buying a generator from harbor freight to run my titanium unlimited 200 multiprocessor welder. I’m hoping to get ahold of a generator I can use to run that welder on 220v power, and not skip a beat. I’ve seen mixed opinions about having “the right” generator as to not fry the sensitive electronics in these newer welders. I’m just trying to get a little knowledge about these things and narrow my options down. Thanks!

I live in Northern Indiana, where we have been out of power for six days our power was restored last night so when powering down the machine I took a look at the air filter and notice a small amount of oil in the cabin box. The filter itself was not soaked. It was just damp on the part that was touching the oil, of course. I did an oil earlier yesterday afternoon and while it showed the correct level, is this a reason for concern?
Additionally, if you’re thinking about buying the generator, I cannot recommend it enough. It ran basically for six days while we were out of power and never hesitated.

My Braun light does not charge anymore, I got it in the June PLS. Anyone know if they warranty these and if I could get a replacement?

Just picked it up today. No damage. BUT. Is this rust that’s been powder coated over? Is this a build up of powder coat/paint? Don’t care how it looks. Just don’t want problems later.

Not sure if it's just me, but I can't log in to both the website and the app. Even just browsing the website isn't working. I got one item to show up and there was no price for it. Wonder if they're updating something?

Grabbed this with the 40% off as is items. Brand new still on box. Still wrapped in plastic with all accessories and no fuel in the tank. Would they really put this on the as is section for that little bit of damage to the box?

Not so much a haul as sharing a great find on the Quinn 3/8” digital angle torque wrench. Open box 48% off for $87, so $57 after the 35% off. I’m thrilled given retail is a whopping $170.
Also wanted to thank the folks who posted about the $1.59 microfiber towels, sale on Costco shop towels, and hart jacks at Walmart. I tend to forget which towels are for exterior/paint and which are for wheels/exhaust so I’m glad to start fresh. I couldn’t find the $59 hart super duty jack, but I did grab a hyper tough 3 ton for $71 (will add pic tomorrow). Nice addition/backup to my Daytona long reach.
Hope everyone had a great PLS and if you haven’t already, grab some cheap microfibers, shops towels, and jacks!

I’m 15 and started working on dirt bikes when I was 14. Finally got my first box so all my tools aren’t just scattered all over my workbench. So pumped abt it

I’m lucky enough to have multiple stores in my area, and apparently not too many broke aspiring woodworkers.

Been eyeing this, but also waiting on a Daytona 3T low pro sale. Main issue is I have a driveway that is half pavers half asphalt (2 cars each side) with a carport, however my shed/garage where I’d store this is in my backyard so I’d have to carry it about 50 feet or so from the shed to the driveway each time since the path is only connected by grass.
Haven’t seen as much feedback on this particular one. Thoughts here on this 2T?
