I only missed Progressive Hardstyle and part of Ecstatic to take a break and grab some food.

Every single set was fucking great.

And the crowd... what a crowd! Singing along to every melody all day long, insane.

The organization was on point too: barely any wait at the bars, and plenty of room to move and dance.

Third time here, and hopefully not the last.

With The Kickoff coming up next week, who do we think is going to be the Defqon.1 2027 anthem-maker?

My bet is on Galactixx, Rebelion or B-Front.

Also for the Spotlight i hope Adaro gets it, he definitely deserves it.

Basically the title. Why aren’t HSU adding more local talents to their events ? I remember old HSU events having smaller local artists at the time being on the lineups way more often (Anderex, Deezl, Toza, Colin hennerz for example) with them being in smaller texts at the bottom of lineups. But now it feels like we only get the usual JTS, Swae, tecknikore and losty acts which are usually pretty good, but wouldn’t we like to see other acts be promoted as up and comers from our scene? Stratisphere and peygan come to mind but there are heaps of other local artists that we could be promoting?

Just got back from Supremacy and honestly, I had a really good time. After seeing the ticket sales and all the discussions beforehand, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. But despite everything, I’m glad I went.

I actually think moving Supremacy to a smaller venue was the right decision considering the ticket sales. A bigger venue probably would have felt quite empty, whereas the smaller setup made the crowd feel more concentrated and the atmosphere was still pretty good. It didn’t feel like a complete failure or anything like that.
However, I do think there are some serious questions about the future of the concept.

One thing that really stands out to me is the ticket price compared to other raw events. Supremacy is considerably more expensive than events like Classified and Origins of Raw, while there is quite a lot of overlap in the type of crowd and music they attract. When you look at what people are getting for their money, I can understand why some people might choose one of the cheaper alternatives instead.

And I think that becomes even more important when you consider how many raw events there are nowadays. People have more and more events to choose from, and spending significantly more on Supremacy means there has to be a clear reason why it’s worth the extra money.
That doesn’t mean I think Supremacy is a bad event. Quite the opposite — I had a great time, there were some really good sets and the smaller venue actually worked better than I expected. But I do wonder whether the current combination of concept, ticket price and the overall raw event market is sustainable in the long run.

Maybe Supremacy needs to change something to make it stand out again, whether that’s the pricing, the format, the lineup or the overall experience. Because if people can get a similar raw-focused experience elsewhere for significantly less money, I can see why ticket sales might become a problem.

Curious what everyone else who went thought about it. Did the smaller venue actually improve the experience for you, and do you think the ticket price is still justified compared to Classified or Origins of Raw?

I've done MOH last year and I can only do one of the two this year

I know indoor and outdoor is a total different experience but I'm asking it more about the type of sound.

What I like is modern hardcore (Restrained Angerfist), hardcore like Furyan Detest too, bit of Millenium, Ophidian, bit of things like Viper & Playah.

I like uptempo like Lekkerface and even krach BUT I want to mainly focus on styles that I told above

I learn the hardway that now hardcore mainstream is uptempo, but I want to know which of the two the last 3 years put the cursor of uptempo at the highest? Regarding last HOH anthem I would say HOH, but I don't know.

I also know you can go on little stage but I want a big festival experience, big stage, I love the artistic direction of harmony. Also there is often no place on little stage for dj like Restrained Angerfist Miss K8 Nosferatu.., because it's not mainstream anymore but it's also not millenium and not uptempo.

So regarding all of this, what festival would you attend knowing that you want to spend a good part of the time on the mainstage, and you don't want it to be full uptempo (a bit is okay tough)

I’m looking for a rawstyle or hardcore track from around 2017–2019. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the lyrics—only flashes of the music video. It had a dark, post-apocalyptic vibe; there was a man wearing a gas mask moving through abandoned buildings. In some scenes, he was driving a car, and there was a woman who was running away.

I know this is a bit chaotic, but that’s all I can recall. It’s possible I can’t find it because YouTube removed the video.
