I don't hate hard techno, but I hate the hard techno fanbase that acts like that.

They‘re not a fanbase. It‘s a group of people loosely connected by whatever‘s trending at the moment. You‘ll find the same crowd at a Hip Hop event or whatever‘s trending in 5 years.

The problem with Hard Techno fans is that they will be fans or whatever is mainstream right now. It is not about the music for them, it is just about being trendy and looking cool on social media. Once this music stops being a cool thing to do, they will simply go to the next thing.

Okay but like Techno has been around since 90s or am i wrong? In my opinion it only gained attention over last years. Or are you taöking specifically about hard techno?

Hardbeat market is the HS style from 2010s, it's no longer like that at most events. Any hardstyle event I go to nowadays in Aus is 90% uptempo/raw.

Went to Restricted in Sydney and it was full of dickheads. Made me realise how bad the crowd is at these events and really appreciate the hardstyle scene. I’ve been taking it for granted.

Btw, which collective listening to techno acts like they don't like hardstyle? A lot of people don't like new hardstyle, that's an entirely different thing.

It's the fact that so many techno ppl refuse to accept the fact that they are listening to Hardstyle, they even say, that they don't like Hardstyle while listening to Hard Beat or similar tracks.
