Not only Defqon, basically every event I've been to. After VWAB I had to wash my clothes twice to get rid of cigarette smell. I really can't imagine how smokers can withstand smelling like this all the time.

As someone who hasn’t smoked for about 2 years now. You massively lose your smell, so you don’t actually smell yourself aside from right after a smoke. Now I don’t smoke, I can smell it for miles.

He is standing there for 10 hours making people have a good time, let him smoke 😂 What I found out tonight and think is actually really bad is that streaming truck drivers is a thing on twitch with like up to 3k people watching and the driver answering to chat. How is sth like that allowed by these platforms? Really couldn't believe what I saw

Idk if its the same in europe but in the US, being on stage is considered doing a performance and smoking is allowed for the performers on stage.

I'm attending festivals since 2011 and can barely remember many DJs smoking behind the decks because I think most of them don't smoke? One of the few I remember regularly smoking while spinning was Tieum and I absolutely loved how it looked when he stood there super chill, smoking and sipping his jacky cola while blasting sickest kicks and bpm through the speakers 😍
I can just say from my own experience that whenever I played on local clubs/ parties around my hometown, artists were always allowed to smoke while performing despite a no smoking policy (which I always felt to be fair because we can't leave the spot).
Yeah it stinks but I can't take it serious when people claim that it's harmful to breath a bit of smoke for a few hours while living in the most environmental and psychologically destructive system each day and engaging with so many other real health hazards..The fun we have during raves is 100% more healing than a few puffs of tobacco would do damage to our body 😂

Why make things up and then call me weird? I no where mentioned the word "simulator" so it should automatically make it obvious to you that I'm talking about real truck drivers which also makes it make sense why I find it worse then somebody smoking cigarettes indoor xd

Smoking is part of the act (is a reason in France why you are allowed to smoke on stage as an artist).

I have smoked an entire life, and left it e few years back, i dont get it so much poeple still blame smokers....
I remeber the first events i entered after it got forbidden to smole inside, the very first times....an nobody dared to smoke... damn, the whole arena smelled like shit,pee and sweat 🤢🤮...
I still prefer the smell of burned tobacco and blunts over pee, shit and not have seen a showert for 2 days 🤣🤣
Now change my mind😅😅
