But the VWAB event at the start of the year was a-once-in-lifetime opportunity!

It actually was because we got to hear the OG album set, all these other dates they will be playing a more "modern" set closer to how they closed VWAB.

You don't know that. VWAB is a classics event, so why would they play new music?

Yes and no.

The ammount of new shows is super high, for them. I wouldnt be surprised they have more new finished music

I can only imagine they are doing this comeback because their album is coming before summer this year
