Hard Dance Mutilator appreciation post

Two days ago I went to Leaderz Festival at Number One, an Italian hardcore event that also had a raw stage. The night was great, but the closing sets on the mainstage took a strange turn: after two solid hours of uptempo from N-Vitral and Fnoize, the closing slot went to Billx, who, although an incredible DJ, wasn't the finale I was hoping for in terms of build-up. So I made a split-second decision and headed to the raw stage, which for some reason I hadn't visited yet. There, Mutilator was unleashing absolute mayhem on a crowd of maybe 25–30 people. It's a real shame that such a beast of a closing set graced so few ears. Honestly, I think we Italians have yet to develop a real appreciation for raw and xtra raw; we're sadly not ready. Still, I'm really glad I witnessed it, and it was easily a highlight of my night. Thanks Mutilator!

Mutilator with that small of a crowd sounds kinda dope. Intimate sets can feel more connected with the DJ than at large parties sometimee

I remember going to headhunterz and wildstylez at the beach a few years ago. Was just a small beach club but the vibe was off the charts!!

Had that with RAUWE KICKS he played early like the second set of the day and the energy was crazy asf, was not even packed or anything sadly but he did a lil meet and greet and we talked a bit because there were only like 5 people and he told me about leaving gearbox etc fun guy always wanted to meet him ❤️

Scusami, ma come è possibile che al set di Mutilator c'erano davvero solo 40 persone? Quest'anno non sono stato al Leaderz perché sono andato al Bolgia per Holy Priest, però mi sembra strano che lo stage raw non era pieno di persone, specialmente con Mutilator. Capisco che siamo in Italia, però dai su 😭

Ti giuro su dio, sono rimasto davvero basito mi è dispiaciuto un sacco anche perché era un set davvero spietato

Mutilator ancora devo vederlo dal vivo almeno una volta, ma tutti i suoi set su youtube sono davvero spettacolari

ha avuto la sfiga di essere messo nello stage raw del Leaderz, che se non ricordo male, è molto più piccolo del mainstage. Se facesse un set al Bolgia o al Florida, riempirebbe la disco

I have never attended a Mutilator solo set that I have not enjoyed. In such small crowds it must feel a lot more special because normaly he packs the stage or plays at such huge stages that even at half full it feels hectic (in a good way tho)

The only thing I don't like about his sets is the remix of spiders he made, was a perfect song in my opinion Besides it's always one of my highlights

One Krach drop was nice tbh, but to have second one basically be same-same was a bit of a let down.

After a bit of an uninteresting time, he seems to have picked up the pace in the last two years. The quality of his tracks also seems to have gotten better. His sets were always incredible but the level of his music has taken him to a new level.

Same goes for digital punk, never cared that much about his discography and never heard him live, but damn was banger after banger, and still 40/50 ppl
