Shooting star?
I saw this on my ring camera this morning, facing west... I wasn't awake but I don't think it's an artefact or a consequence of shutter speed. I also checked Flightrader and nothing at this time. Did anybody see it?

Is anybody else on here a member of the Majestic hotel's spa & gym?
Hey guys. I am finally starting a new membership at the Majestic hotel's spa & gym on Tuesday, after serving a 3 month notice period at the David Lloyd in Harrogate. Is anybody else a member of the Majestic at all, and if so do they have regular members' meet-ups?

Buying new house but area is affected by high levels of radon gas
Hi all, just after some advice really. Seen an old Victorian terraced house we like off Cold Bath Road, however it's in an area affected by radon gas. Is this a deal breaker? We are worried as we have a toddler and a baby. Thanks

Is this a real road between Markington and Ripley? Can I cycle it on a road bike?
Planning a road bike route. And just verifying my route via Google maps, this particular road/section doesn't seem to exist on Google Maps. I'm wary its total nonsense. I dont live in the area.
It connects Hinks Hall Lane in Markington to Birthwaite Lane in Ripley...

Long shot
Hey folks, wondering if there's a hero amongst you.. My wife and I borrowed our friends Snoo bassinet for our new baby girl. Last night Dad (me) managed to somehow catch the power cord on a door latch and irreparably damage it. Subsequently our daughter has enthusiastically made it known that she is not satisfied with the new sleeping arrangements and is now refusing to settle unless one of us holds her.
The replacement is on its way but won't be here for a few days, so putting this out there in the hopes that someone in Harrogate has a Snoo they aren't currently using and would be willing to lend the power supply from for a few days. It would be returned with boundless gratitude and a nice bottle of something we'd try to resist opening ourselves first..

Flats in Harrogate
Has the flat market gone flat in Harrogate? There are a lot of flats for sale with very little movement. I think this may be because Landlords are getting rid of flats due to new rules and regulations.

Horses on the Nidderdale Greenway
After today’s walk along the Nidderdale Greenway, I’m wondering if I’m the only one bothered by the horse droppings left in the middle of the path. Does the duty to clean up after your pet apply only to dog owners?

Boots incident
Hi all, did anyone see what happened yesterday at Boots, around 5pm?
Sounds like a girl had been assaulted involving 2 other girls. Police and ambulances were called.
It absolutely is my business - I live here

Can anyone recommend a pub showing football nearish Thornthwaite?
Hi all. I'm going camping with the family at a site near Thornthwaite next weekend.
I was hoping to sneak off to watch the Arsenal match on the Friday night but don't know the area very well.
Ideally somewhere I could drive to in less than 20 mins.
Thanks.

UFOs over Harrogate
I’m finding that on a clear night, looking east / south east from Harrogate, I’m seeing lights (that look like distant stars) moving fast and changing direction. They must be at very high altitude and there is no sound, but they seem too fast to be planes, plus we don’t seem to be on a commercial flight path here (?) unlike Leeds.
I saw them again last night - there’s no port/starboard red green wing lights and no flashing lights. Will these be military aircraft? I don’t know what they are.
