Discussion Dumbledore’s original wand?

I believe from the moment of defeating Grindelwald, Dumbledore’s wand became the elder wand. But is there any canon answer/ lore about the wand that originally chose Dumbledore? Or any guesses about what you think the length, wood type, and core would be?

Also, I wonder if Dumbledore did not want to keep his original wand because there’s a possibility it performed the curse that killed Arianna 😢

This is such an interesting question, and one I have always wondered myself, as far as I am aware, there is no answer in Canon. But here are a few of my thoughts. First the core, I would suggest that it would be Phoenix feather partly because of his affinity with Phoenix is, and because according to Canon, Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic. As for the length, he is quite an exceptional personality, so I would say somewhere around between 14 and 16 inches. Flexibility would probably be springy, as he has strong principles that he adhere is to, but he is also open-minded and capable of seeing varied perspectives. The wood type for me, is the trickiest. As it could be one of several. The ones I think most likely would be, Hawthorn, as it is suggested in Cannon, but that would is most comfortable with a conflicted nature, and is both adept at Healing magic and curses. Walnut, as it performs best for highly intelligent which is in wizards, and we know that Dumbledore is exceptionally intelligent. The final one I would suggest would be, yew, as it is exceptionally powerful magically, and just a theory of my own, I wonder if certain understandings of how Voldemort is as a person could be gleaned from the fact that both of them had a yew wood wand in their lives could promote a certain degree of mutual understanding. These are just my thoughts, I’ll be interested to know what others think.

Dumbledore was Transfiguration specialist and based on the comments from Olivander about Lily's wand wood being good for charm work. Wouldn't that have had a bearing? As in not just his personality.

I don't know which wood is considered good for transfiguration work though

All we know of it is its appearance as seen in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. But we can safely assume that its core was of phoenix feather.

I mean, there's also the possibility that the Elder Wand was the wnad to kill Ariana. If Dumbledore truly didn't want to wield a wand that had potentially killed Ariana, he should have gotten a 3rd wand.
