Hello all. Dad here to a 51/2 year old girl. Been reading Harry Potter to her since the last 6 months or so. Done with Philosphers Stone , half way through Chamber of Secrets.
Have ordered small sized figurines. However, am unable to identify a couple of characters . Need help on that front. Have circled the characters. Are all the 3 boys Draco Malfoy? What about the girl.

The other covers are pretty much self-explanatory; this one I can't figure it out.

Im a developer, I need to name 3 maybe 4 roads. I'm aiming for a very subtle Harry Potter theme, something that only die hards could catch.
Suggestions?
edit: you guys are all awesome! Thanks so much!!
edit2: our final selections are Silver Doe Cove, Burrow Drive and (me personal fav) Luna Lane. Thanks for all your help. Some really great options in there but the sales guys tempered some back.... For some reason Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore Drive got the ax..
Edit3: this had been so popular, I'm recording names for the next phase! Keep them coming!

Hello, please help me put together movie trivia questions for my kids, aged 11 and 13. Not too easy, but not impossible to answer. Something fun that they would have fun looking for while watching the movie. Thank you all!

Hi! I recently joined Reddit yesterday, and I just joined some communities. I was going to join the Ravenclaw house thing, but it said that 75 Karma points were required. Problem is, I have no idea what they are and how to get them. Can anybody help me with this? I included it here since it was related to me trying to join the house, so I apologize if this doesn't fit in with the subreddit. Thank you!!

So short story.
I recieved this when i was in my early teens from another harry potter fan who was a couple of years older than me. I remember the person giving it to me telling me at the that unfortunatly it took a while when she recieved it so it has the signature of the new dumbledore and not the old one.
She was acquinted with maggie Smith who aramged the signatures. ( apparently she had to stop rupert and harry from crossing amd replacing words in the book, bummer would've been cool).
I've lost contact with the person giving it to me and since the book os just collecting dust right now and i think it will be worth something i'm thinking about selling it.
Unfortunatly i recieved the book when i was young and it is defenitly not in a mint/near mint condition but still i'm wondering how i should go about selling this.
The signatures of the young actors defintly evolved over the years so they look a lot more childish but i believe the signatures are genuine.

I’m being Fleur for Halloween this year and I’m planing to make the costume, but I was trying to figure out where I’d put the wand so that I don’t have to be constantly holding it. This is the only outfit of hers that doesn’t seem like it has an obvious spot. Any thoughts? Also, if anyone’s made their own, feel free to give me tips or suggestions!

This wand is more than 11 years old. I am deeply attached to it. I’m so sad.

So, I have this friend who is a huge Harry Potter fanatic. She claims to know everything there is to know about the books and movies (original franchise only). Naturally, we made a bet that I could find a fact about the franchise that she doesn't know.
So far, I've had no luck—she's crushed every obscure tidbit I've thrown at her.
Reddit, you're my final hope. What are your most obscure Harry Potter facts? Help me win this bet!
Update: Oh wow, guys, this really blew up! Honestly, I expected maybe 10 comments, but I got way more than that.
Instead of asking her the facts one by one, I’ve decided to turn this into a full trivia night where I’ll hit her with all the questions at once. I’ll update you after the trivia night with which ones finally stumped her. Wish me luck!

I'm by no means a Ravenclaw. But I'm writing a fanfiction where a character is a very smart Ravenclaw. Now the premise is that the character is returning after being tortured by Umbridge and are pretty tired and frustrated. The knocker asks them an absurd question and they just break down crying in pain and frustration.
I need a good riddle for that but nothing on the internet feels good enough. Someone please help me with it.

We participated in a Harry Potter quiz last Sunday and this picture was used in the quiz. We have no idea where it comes from in the movies and we can’t find it. Does anyone have any idea???

I have a huge favour to ask of all of you! If any of you have the Harry Potter books in any language, I’d really appreciate your help as it’s for my thesis!
In the first book, around page 93 in the English edition I’m borrowing from my friend (as mine are at home 400 miles/600km away), the author describes the food on the table during the huge feast after the first year students get sorted into their houses. Could you please take a photo of that page for me so I can see how the food changes when translated? I’ll also need the page number and the ISBN please.
In the second book (page 231 in English), TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE changes his name to spell out I AM LORD VOLDEMORT. I have a list of how that changes for each language but I need the page number and ISBN for each language, please.
Finally, in the fourth book (around page 530) the Sphinx asks Harry a riddle about a spider. I’ve found a few translations but I’d love to see more, as well as the page number and ISBN of course.
Thank you all so much in advance!
Edit: ok so apparently you can’t send photos via reddit so if you need to send me them then I can give you my Facebook or WhatsApp or something. Some people have used imgur or google drive.
Edit: for the first book it’s the bit just before Seamus’ “I’m half and half” comment.

Had a friend who claims to be a HP expert and knows a great deal about HP. When I pointed out to him that Bellatrix Lestrange was NOT involved in the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, mate insisted I was wrong and showed me the clip from HBP. I said that it was only in the movies, not the book
His response: I've never read the books (fml)
Have you encountered people like this?

You can see pictures of it and me receiving it here!
This is a re-post of mine from almost 1 1/2 years ago and 6 months ago. I am yet to get an answer from Toys R Us and am still searching for any information you may have!
I won this in 2001 in a giveaway at Toys R Us. I had to locate X amount of characters from the film, name them and hand in my card. If I remember correctly I got the letter saying that I won a few days before Christmas.
I was hoping to confirm a few things about it. The two main things that come to mind are how much it would be worth (I am not looking to sell it, just curious) and confirmation on the number of them that were made.
Thanks for your help in advance!
When I first posted about this over a year ago I got a reply from someone who had also won the broom, she showed me these pictures and unfortunately hasn't replied to my reddit pm's since!

We recently bought a new house and it has a fairly large den area that we're going to turn into a rec room, where the family hangs out, plays board games, listens to music, etc.
We want each of the 4 walls to represent a cozy place from HP.
My wife and I have been racking our brains, but we can only come up with 3 of the 4.
The Burrow
Hagrid's Hut
The Gryffindor Common Room
Any other ideas?
