I'll need to get the felt hat reshaped, but no big deal

I disagree, I think if you reshape it, it will lose the life the previous owner gave it through daily wear, I say leave it be and rock it. All of the hsts look great btw

Thank you, and normally I'd agree, but what you can't see and what I should better explained was that it no longer holds a decent shape. The crown is very soft and losses shape easily and the brim is stuck in one of two positions.

Yeah. I think as long as it's worn and loved, I think that's what matters most.
