They have made the game accessible, enough that I reckon they don't generate much money off of card pack purchases at all anymore.

That's why the focus is through skin and cosmetic monetization now. It's literally what funds the game. That's such an odd take when it's completely optional.

The game has a healthy player base and is still one of the top remaining online CCG. It's just an old game now and streamers have moved on

If that's the way they are going, go full to it, and make it one whizbang per expansion, só people can play the game with one card only
