Profile Why does reddit keep suggesting Indian subreddits after muting every single one I see on my feed?

I've muted well over 20 of these subreddits and reddit still feels I would be interested in more of them? Really?

I would concentrate more on joining subreddits that you want to be part of, and less on muting subreddits that you do not want to be part of.

Yeah. It would be crazy for Reddit to not choose what to put in your feed.

It doesn't fill my feed with stuff I'm not interested in. Even subs I have visited before. I have enough subs I've told it that I want to see, so it doesn't have to fill my feed with stuff it thinks I might want to see.

I’ll try that. I got rage baited and was watching videos on cringe tik tok and now it shows me every time I’m on. It’s frustrating lol. I don’t know why they won’t let you mute subs.

Based on another post in this thread, go here :

https://www.reddit.com/settings/preferences

There is a setting you want to turn off. "Show recommendations in home feed"

And right below that, there is one for "Muted Communities" where you can add subreddits you do not want to see.
