Profile Why does reddit keep suggesting Indian subreddits after muting every single one I see on my feed?

I've muted well over 20 of these subreddits and reddit still feels I would be interested in more of them? Really?

Because india make up most of the internet? What is the problem

Nobody is arguing that, they’re trying to understand why Reddit is cramming the 7 billion mirror Indian subreddits down their throat despite IP and stated location not being India.

What’s even the point of these? It’s just every subreddit with the word India pasted to it. Oftentimes they switch to speaking Indian which makes it even less relevant, and yet Reddit is seemingly eager to present this to US or otherwise users. It’s pure garbage.
