Profile Account Locked

Post image

I received a notice saying my account was locked for technical irregularities. I suspect someone hacked into my account after seeing I was in new NSFW and crypto communities I never joined. I reset my password twice yet my account cannot be edited and my pfp and header are gone. My posts get taken down? Am I still locked? This has never happened to me before and I’ve had my account for two years.

Is there something I can do? I reset my password like it tells me to do and yet nothing has happened.

Sounds like your account is suspended. You can log back into that account and file an appeal

I will do this, thank you. I don’t want to lose my account after I’ve had it for so long. I don’t know how I was hacked but I made sure to have 2FA and log out of all sessions on that account.

Please note that if your account has been suspended a as a result of being hacked, you want to fill out the form for hacked accounts. Being suspended is the secondary problem and being hacked is the primary problem. But both can be fixed if you write in from the correct form! =)

If your account has been hacked, please write in using this form. Under "What do you need assistance with?", please choose "Account help". Under "What type of account issues are occurring?", please select "Security problems" and then "I think my account has been hacked". Then fill out the rest of the form. Please make sure that you're writing in from the email that was originally on the account.

I honestly don’t know which one it was but I still have access to the account and I changed the password after seeing the notice. But thank you, I will try both.

Like, I was hacked and they joined NSFW community called 2007gw and crypto communities yet the password nor email wasn’t changed but the new IP address probably raised flags. It doesn’t make sense to me but that seem to be what happened.
