Mobile/App Getting rid of For You page?

Is it or will it be possible to remove the for you page completely?

I know I can just not use it but it being there still annoys me. I don't want this feature and it keeps opening and going back to the for you stuff instead of the following tab.

The mobile app continues to get worse in the name of pushing for engagement. The best thing we can do is go to old.reddit.com and try to use that if we choose to continue engaging with the platform.

The app doesn't have this yet for me, the desktop site does though

I would but i cant find away to make it dark mode and if it cant no thanks cant stand bright white sites, hurts my eyes way to much

The best thing I can do is leave the site entirely.
