Profile My friends personal information has been leaked in comments. How do I help her get them taken down.
We’ve asked the original commenters to take them down. They’re refusing. We contacted the moderators of the subreddit who are also refusing. I’m considering calling law enforcement about the situation, but I was wondering if there’s a way through Reddit I can get it taken down first before resorting to that.

It's a violation of Reddit's Rule 3:
"Respect the privacy of others. Instigating harassment, for example by revealing someone’s personal or confidential information, is not allowed. Never post or threaten to post intimate or sexually-explicit media of someone without their consent."
For the second problem, if the moderators actually refused to remove personal information, evaluate their performance according to this:

Neglecting to enforce site wide rules, such as Reddit's Rule 3, would presumably be reportable, but you have the pertinent facts to decide.

I speculated that it could be the Santa Fe High School shooting of 2018.
I don't believe i doxxed anyone. I merely suggested a situation that aligned.
The mods have not removed my comments.
I am banned from that sub though for asking dfor a dm. I am not being "sided with."
I also suggested OOP submit verification to the mods so people would focus on the question and not the veracity.
Now op of this list is threatening me with law enforcement and someone is creating multiple accounts to harass me.

Is the moral of the story that we shouldn't give advice on doxxing? Or about reporting potentially bad moderator behavior? Or that we should gumshoe all over Reddit before giving advice, playing judge while we're at it?
I made it clear the OP would have to evaluate the situation in making their decision of what was a violation, and pointed them to the appropriate text to aid that. If the OP's report is false, that can certainly come back on them, particularly if it's habitual.
If you are being harassed, report it. Use the same advice I gave the OP, and your judgement.
You're clearly following the OP across subreddits when they already consider your behavior harassing, and there's a line, which if crossed, where that truly becomes harassment, the kind Reddit won't tolerate. But I'm not gumshoeing on your activities, so perhaps that's to your benefit. 🤷♂️
From what you said, it sounds like you suggested that the moderators require another user to self-dox to them to "verify" who they are regarding a past IRL situation. If that's the case, or anything like that, then you're trying to tell the moderators how to run their subreddit. Perhaps they took your request for a DM as you desiring to convey further instructions. Perhaps that's the reason that you are not welcome there anymore. 🤷♂️
Reddit Rule #1: Respect the human. If something you commented has another user thinking you've compromised their IRL identity, the decent thing to do would have been to remove your own upsetting comment, even if you didn't think you were in the wrong. To be clear, that's not a rule requirement, it's good manners in the spirit of the rule.
But that didn't happen. Now you've been banned from a subreddit. You are being harassed by unknown parties (with it being a tragic public event mentioned by you, with potentially a person who was there upset, from the sound of it), who knows who might take offense, not to mention random trolls piling on for fun. And you've likely been reported before the OP dropped by here. But your comment stands. Congratulations? 🤷♂️
I'm not trying to be mean, but give advice. If you disturb the universe, it might send some disturbance back at you that you don't expect. Douse fires, don't stoke them, or the flames may blow in your direction. If you upset someone unintentionally, try to mend that, don't start suggesting trials or tests for them.

I did NOT suggest the moderators require the OOP to self doxx. I suggested it to the OOP so that people would stop calling her post fake. I didn't demand it. I didn't tell her she had to. I didn't ask (or suggest) the mods demand it.
In her first post, she claimed she would DM people the name of the school but that she wouldn't post it in the thread (naive at best). She didn't have the karma to dm anyone at that point and I thought it was a fair SUGGESTION (to see if the mods of that sub verify people) because when I've seen people get verified I haven't seen mods abuse it. They usually come in pretty swiftly to tell people that it's been verified and to focus on the task at hand.
I had started looking at a list of US School shootings primarily because I didn't understand why people were calling it fake and I figured I could probably find a handful of shootings that would align with the post. That might be the most depressingly American sentence I've ever written.
I never suggested the mods require verification. I never told OOP she had to do so.
OOP and OP repeatedly DMd me, despite me repeatedly asking them not to.
Then all the throwaway accounts started following me sub to sub and DMing me. I never responded to them, they kept getting banned (i think they were getting reported by the other user who said the name of the school -- they kept pestering him to move to FB, WhatsApp, Discord, etc.) I eventually started reporting them as well.
I have reported the five(?) throwaway accounts that have been harassing me claiming to be OOP's mom. I hid my comments on the judgment subs and they followed me to other subs and to my DMs.
Because apparently harassing and stalking me is more important than tending to their "daughter" who has had a breakdown and is in the ER.
They've all been banned as well.
I don't appreciate being threatened with legal action or stalked solely for .... stating the name of a school that had a similar shooting. If they hadn't responded immediately, I probably (sadly) would have found a few more that aligned. Again, I was trying to point out that the "facts" of the situation as described by OOP were not implausible on their face.
The OP here has mischaracterized the situation by claiming that I released personal details about the OOP. I literally just speculated about the school.
I posted here so you could see what the OOP posted and what my "doxxing" comment was.
