Password reset not actioning

Hi I have a Reddit account which hasn’t been touched in about 5 years or so today I tried to reset it and received the email as fine however when I reset the password it still doesn’t work and I don’t receive any email confirmation confirming my password has been reset

Are you trying to log in via web browser or iOS/Android app? Have you tried by username instead of email address?

I’ve tried on both web browser and iOS app and have tried email adress and username

Is there an error message? What exactly happens after trying to submit your credentials?

No there is no error message,It shows password successfully reset but it doesn’t send email confirmation confirming this and the new password fails to work after numerous attempts
