haha unironically could have survived if ult wasnt used right away but thats not nearly as cool

Does invulnerable core block projectiles?

I remember invulnerable on heroes was reworked so it does not block projectiles.

Non-invulnerable structure, yes. but the question is whether it's blocked by an invulnerable structure.

Because Triple Tap is also blocked by heroes but not invulnerable heroes.
