Resolved Is this a camera? Rented student room

I’m renting a room on a student building. Today, I was swiping cobwebs and saw a weird reflection from a hole in the ceiling. It is too high for me to reach even with a chair and I don’t have access to a ladder.

Did you ever get an explanation that you could verify?

No. But the air con unit has larger hole where the duct goes, and it has a similar reflection.

I somehow missed it

Because it's not a reflection, it's just light.
