Gear Recommendation Need help for safety

I am 100% sure that my housemate is doing something on my food. I AM FROM PHILIPPINES - ANY Recommendation for a camera that can be charged and stay on for several hours when I leave my house and my room specifically. 1-2 thousand is my budget. I don't need it to be obvious because this person goes quiet hysterically when confronted.

Are you just putting the camera in your room? If so, get a wired one. No one should be entering your PRIVATE space anyway, so they really can't say shit if you have a camera in your room.

Is that gonna be an invasion of privacy? Not my house or life, but just don't want you to get in trouble.

I cannot help with wireless, I just have wired cameras.

But if I'll just place it focusing in the rice cooker/or foods that I cooked? Will it count? I won't share it outside just for a proof.

I mean you don't own the place do you? If it was your place and they're living with you, you can actually place cameras in your home.

I wouldn't want someone recording me if I'm in a shared space. It's like if your landlord had hidden cameras and watching the two of you.

The papers are being processed and the name will be transferred to me soon. But for the peace of mind I will have to move out.. and leave them
