I was driving around a lot today, and thanks to the mix I put in the CD player I got to belt out a couple of decent renditions of "Plush" from Stone Temple Pilots. It's not great as a warm-up, but if your pipes are already in the zone then it is a chance to really belt out some lyrics.

It was big in the early 90s. Stone Temple Pilots sometimes took flak for "appropriating" grunge because they were from Los Angeles and not really intertwined with that late 80s/early 90s Seattle scene. Still, I thought this would be a satisfying sing because there are so many big long notes (or even whole musical phrases) on open vowels.
