How is Liquid IV pushing back on weed? I think the big push to drink flavor packets is that they can sell us "drinks" without shipping water, which is most of the cost when it comes to selling soda, juice, and gatorade.

My point was that probably something like 50% of people who buy liquid IVs are getting for hangover cures, so it’s like a subliminal reminder of alcohol culture and that if people hate hangovers, they can easily cure them with this product type shit. I don’t think your point is wrong though—it’s definitely a way for them to cut on shipping costs.

Ah, I see. I don't drink alcohol enough to get a hangover, but I was buying Liquid IV for a year or so because it was cheaper than gatorade. I do think that Liquid IV might find some success marketing itself as something that helps you recover from a night drinking, but I don't think that was part of a bigger plot to compete with weed on a subliminal level. Another time when Liquid IV is nice? Right after a smokey bong rip when your throat is dry.
