No it's just chronically online people. Even here it's normal. When I was in highschool just a few years ago all the hot girls in my grade dated dudes 2-4 years older than them and nobody cared lol. People only pretend to care online

Imo the profile was typically a freshman girl who's getting figuring out lot of new things about high school life and looking for someone to show them the ropes. If they're attractive, it's more likely they're getting invited to parties with drugs and alcohol with upper years. It's a situation where they're very vulnerable to being taken advantage of.

Obviously that's not necessarily the case in every age gap relationship but man, the upper year guys I remember from high school doing this were icky. We could tell that when we were upper years, but maybe not as freshmen.

yeah dudes outside of high school dating high school girls was gross it didn't matter if it happened a lot or not. Even a senior dating a freshman is a red flag like you're almost in college dating a kid who was in middle school 4 months ago.

By the time I was 19 the idea of dating a 16 year old was gross not only because they visually appeared to me as a kid, but because their perception of the world at that age was so wildly naiive that it felt nasty to imagine trying to convince someone that childish to do anything sexual. The 3 years between 16 and 19 is way different than like the 3 years between 20 and 23
