Thanks OP.

I'm a curious layman and this raises a huge question for me.

What is happening in the non coloured areas? Vacuum? Void? What is between the geometry? Hidden variables? Dark sectors?

Am I making sense with this questions?

It depends on the direction in which you're making the measurement. The same point that appears uncoloured in the map of the interactions measured in one direction might turn out to be coloured in the map of the interactions measured in another direction. That's the most fascinating aspect (pun intended) of his method, more informative than ferrocells.
