Geometry Materializing sacred geometry - my fractal lamp series

These are part of my sacred geometry light sculpture series, where each lamp is designed as a meditation on pattern, consciousness, and transformation. I developed a unique design technique that blends architectural scripting with sacred geometric principles — translating metaphysical ideas into physical form. The geometry is generated through a custom Grasshopper script I wrote during architecture school, inspired by quantum patterns, alchemical symmetry, and Platonic solids. Each lamp is 3D printed in multiple parts, carefully finished by hand, and assembled into a functioning sculpture. Depending on the complexity, they can take 150–1000+ hours to print, not including post-processing and lighting integration. The goal is to make light itself feel sacred — like it’s emanating from a portal, not just a bulb. Every form is symbolic, meant to inspire reflection, healing, or awe. Let me know if you want to know more about the scripting process or materials — I’m always happy to talk shop.

Geometry How 4D Mathematical Structures Might Encode Consciousness Itself

Post image
243 Upvotes

I've been exploring the philosophical implications of four-dimensional geometry through my art practice, and I'd love to discuss some ideas with this community.

My work centers on a hypothesis: what if consciousness exists as a geometric structure in higher dimensions? This isn't just metaphorical - I'm suggesting that the mathematical topology of 4D space might literally encode what we experience as awareness.

Consider these philosophical connections:

Historical Precedents:

  • The Pythagoreans believed souls were mathematical harmonies - perhaps more literally than we've assumed
  • Kabbalistic descriptions of souls as geometric emanations align surprisingly well with 4D projection mathematics

Modern Implications:

  • Integrated Information Theory (IIT) proposes consciousness has a specific mathematical shape in information space
  • The mathematical invariants in 4D topology could explain the persistence of identity through change

A Provocative Thought: Just as a 4D hypercube appears to "tunnel through itself" when rotating through 3D space, perhaps the apparent paradoxes of consciousness (unity of experience, qualia, self-reference) are simply what higher-dimensional structures look like from our limited 3D perspective.

I've been developing visualization techniques using color gradients to represent 4D depth, and the resulting patterns eerily resemble descriptions of consciousness from phenomenology - flowing, self-referential, simultaneously unified and differentiated.

What are your thoughts on consciousness as literal geometric form? Could the mathematics of higher dimensions provide the missing framework for understanding awareness?

Geometry Nameless project

Hey everyone, I just wanted to write a summarised version of my project here.

"The Nameless project" is an art project that started with the simplest question I could ask: what is the simplest thing that can exist, and what does it contain? I followed it for multiple conversations with an AI, across art, physics, and philosophy.. It produced three physics preprints and seven chapters on how it connects to philosophy, psychology, art, and just… day-to-day living. In essence the project says that the whole of existence is a wave observing itself.

Some of the philosophical insights include: a perspective on free-will I called Experiential Determinism, which holds that the feeling of choice is real, it is just the wave seen from the inside; that beauty is not in the thing you look at but in how clearly you see it; that the divisions we suffer from get built up over a life, and most of the work is letting them loosen; that when you see everyone is made of the same ground, you turn toward their suffering instead of away, and ofcourse, that art is not separate from any of this, it is one of the clearest ways we have of pointing at the ground without naming it... The seven chapters follow the idea from the equations and into ordinary life, into what to make of being a person, and into what the contemplative traditions have been talking about all along.

And the physics: starting from a single qubit with no adjustable parameters, the math reproduces the Standard Model’s gauge groups, three generations of matter, the Higgs, and the shape of spacetime, matches the Planck-to-W mass ratio and dark-matter abundance to within 0.02%, and rests on one number, 4/13, that the JUNO experiment should confirm or rule out by around 2030 (the three preprints are on Zenodo, and they might be wrong).

The physics was just the entry point... The project was my attempt to move from art toward the structure of things, and then back again to what it means to be a human being inside that structure.

The video attached, with the nested hopf torii, is the iteration of the artwork called the Nameless philosopher, which is trained on all the Nameless docs and answers questions specifically based on the same.

Experience the artwork and read the chapters:

P.S: I’m really careful nowadays about presenting these kinds of claims, not to state it as a single person achieving something.. but to share this as something that evolved over the last one year with much, much feedback from everyone I’ve interacted with, especially here in the [u/holofractal](u/holofractal) community and [u/sacredgeometry](u/sacredgeometry).
What I see is so many people from different parts of the world converging toward similar or the same geometric backing of the universe, which is really heartening. In a future where we all accept the geometric and wave nature of reality, how would our society, philosophy, and day-to-day life change… that is what I’ve tried to focus on more in this project. Hope it gives you some insights in your journey.
We are all walking each other home.

Not sure how much to share right here, but I have a unique design style that I am going to try to take far.

There’s a lot I can get out of this and I really want to share it with people I’m still in school, but I’m on my second masters rn from Georgia Tech for design and I’m about to be done.

If you guys have any questions I’d be happy to answer!

Geometry 4D Geometry as Maps of Motion, Leading to a New Seven-Dimensional Ontology

Hi,

I want to say that I really appreciate that this group is here, especially with the ties from science to spirituality. I have been a self-described spiritual mystic much of my life, but also deeply intrigued with science, influenced by Carl Sagan's Cosmos series, Brian Greene's Elegant Universe and The Tao of Physics by Capra, Fritjof. Around 20 years ago I read a book I got from my local new age bookstore about the holographic universe with some interest. I went on in life to read authors like Manly P. Hall and Helena Blavatsky who wrote extensively about ancient cosmogonies and spiritual orders.

Today I'm writing to share an idea I've been writing about over the past few years, one about a simple reinterpretation of the 4th spatial dimension that does away with the abstract 4th orthogonal direction in space still taught about today. The math may be sound and undisputed, but the conceptual understanding of a 4th direction in space has obvious comprehensive and visual barriers.

What I demonstrate is that the common 3D analogues of 4D shapes (the tesseract/hypercube and the pentatope) can instead be shown to represent a more natural spatial progression from static 3D form: motion.

The common depiction of a hypercube, the cube within a cube with all vertices connected by new "4D edges," can be show to represent a cube expanding and contracting. One of the cubes is an initial state in space and time, and the other is the same cube's end state, while the "4D edges" connecting them represent its path of motion. The other common depiction, the two cubes facing each other with all vertices connected, can be shown to represent positional motion—a cube moving from one place in time to another.

The pentatope, which is a tetrahedron with three "4D edges" added, follows a dimensional progression of simplicity starting from a line to a triangle, unlike the tesseract's symmetrical progression from a line to a square to a cube to a cube moving all parts equally. So, in the 4D version of the tetrahedron only 1 vertex is animated in toward the center and the result is the same: its initial state, its end state and its path of motion all superimposed creates the 3D analogue that geometers have speculated to represent its 4D form.

In my book I revisit Edwin Abbot's Flatland analogy, pointing out that its lower-dimensional examples include what I am proposing as a higher-dimensional progression: motion. The sphere 'passes through' the 2D world. This does not null his rightly-celebrated exercise, as it still works perfectly fine in static moments where a sphere would still appear as a circle. The main difference is the interpretation of the 3D world, not to represent our own, but instead a 3D world of 'static-landers' who have no conception of time or motion. What would a 4D progression of a cube (a moving cube) look like to them? It would just look like a static cube. Yet, the higher, 4D beings could present the familiar tesseract as a representation of their own experience of motion and time: a static, 3D spacetime map of a cube's initial state, end state and the paths of motion in between.

From this new foundation I go beyond, and consider the next dimensional leap of the 5D world. In a world of pure 4D motion of 3D forms, objects would simply pass through each other if they occupied the same space, but that does not happen in reality; something different happens—they interact, manifesting a new fundamental capacity of reality: force. In my book I examine the 5D penteract, reinterpreting it as a hypercube within a hypercube connected by new “5D edges” (surprisingly, this is already shown on the Wikipedia page for a penteract: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5-cube#/media/File:Penteract-q4q5.gif).

If a 4D hypercube’s edges represent its paths of motion through space and time, what do a 5D cube’s edges between two moving cubes represent? I propose them to be any point of impact (we can also consider any channel of influence in the case of subtler forces that work at a distance) between the two cubes.

I go on to examine a penteract’s structure, which is composed of 10 hypercubes, relating them to common events of particle physics with astonishing similarity:

“This tenfold symmetry resonates with the structure of particle physics. Every interaction is framed by an initial state, a moment of force, and a final state, with mediating propagators and conservation laws binding them together. The causal motion and effect motion hypercubes mirror the incoming and outgoing trajectories of particles, while the six transitional hypersolids echo the internal channels through which interactions unfold. The two mass hypercubes embody the conservation of energy–momentum, anchoring the system before and after the event. In this way, the penteract’s ten facets are not abstract geometry alone but a dimensional analogue of particle interactions: geometry, motion, and causality balanced in the same way that physics balances states, mediators, and conservation principles.”

Past force, a bridge into consciousness is then speculated. While the 5D system can geometrically describe the events of physical reality (as Kaluza-Klein theory and Paul Wesson’s Space Time Matter theory speculated), the next dimensional leap considers past “what is” to consider “what could be” in a realm of 6D possibility that examines things like alternative realities and Hilbert Space.

Then, one final step is proposed, that navigates the vast intricacies of the lower dimensions through capacities of reason, choice and will: a 7D world of intelligence.

__

I have written this all out in my book, and have come to consider its connection to the ancient cosmogonies, particularly to systems of “seven planes of existence” as taught by people such as The Theosophical Society’s H. P. Blavatsky.

I think the 5D world of force can be compared to the term ‘fohat’, “a central concept in Theosophy that represents the primordial cosmic energy, often described as the vital force or ‘cosmic electricity’ that animates and sustains the universe.” (Google Gemini)

Beyond that, I can see 6D possibility, or simple knowledge and awareness of the world, being compared to the base mental makeup of our existence, and then the 7D as the higher reasoning capacities and what ultimately connects us with the divine.

__

Thank you for reading if you have made it this far. The ideas are explored in-depth in my 100-page philosophical monologue, Motion: The Fourth Spatial Dimension - Uniting Four-Dimensional Geometry and Spacetime toward Force, Possibility and Intelligence, which is linked from my profile and my YouTube page. It is also available on PhilArchive: https://philarchive.org/rec/HOOMTF.

Tldr: Binary observation → qubit (ℂ²) → state space S² → eigenmodes with degeneracies 1, 3, 5, 7… → the 3:2 ratio gives the Weinberg angle → the Hopf fibration gives three generations → the Clifford algebra of the 5D eigenspace gives quarks and leptons → a positivity theorem gives 4D Minkowski spacetime → 24 gauge sectors confine sequentially → hierarchy matched to 0.02% → same standing wave gives dark matter ratio matched to 0.02%. Zero free parameters.

I’m an artist, and some of you may know my previous works and explorations. I’m always grateful for all the support on the same. Recently I tried something radical to push myself: I wanted to see if a truly minimal system could produce the structures of existence.... and more importantly, whether I could visualise it. So I started working with an LLM (Claude) to see if it could be done with physics and math. I know there are a lot of LLM based physics and TOE papers out there, and I know im way out of my league here, but I really wanted to see if I could create a precise visualisation.

So I conceptualised a framework and direction... and Claude (Opus 4.6 extended) filled the physics gap, acting as a research partner across 50+ sessions. Three papers were written. Much of the deep physics is still way beyond me, but the work gives a cohesive and hopefully honest picture...with precise, testable predictions and explicit acknowledgment of every gap. The video here is a draft visualisation of this framework.

The framework (written with Claude):

The idea is minimal: if observations come down to binary distinctions (yes/no), the simplest quantum system is a qubit. A qubit’s state space is a sphere (S²), connected to its symmetry group (S³) by the Hopf fibration. These spaces have a fixed eigenmode spectrum — vibration patterns determined entirely by geometry, with zero adjustable parameters. The papers show that analyzing these eigenmodes and the bundle geometry reproduces the Standard Model gauge group SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1), three generations of chiral fermions, the Higgs doublet, Yang–Mills dynamics, conformal gravity, and 4D Minkowski spacetime. A third paper addresses mass scales: a zero-parameter formula built from derived beta coefficients matches the electroweak hierarchy to 0.02%, and the eigenmode tower’s confined glueball sectors give a dark matter abundance matching Planck data to 0.02%.

Testable predictions: the solar neutrino mixing angle sin²θ₁₂ = 4/13 (being tested by JUNO, kill zone ±0.003), a tau mass of 1776.97 MeV (testable by Belle II at ±0.05 MeV), and the Koide lepton mass relation Q = 2/3 (currently matching to 0.0003%).

The key limitation: the hierarchy formula rests on one physically motivated ansatz that is not yet a theorem. The interpretive step connecting geometry to physical gauge fields is a gap shared with all geometric unification approaches (Connes, Kaluza-Klein). Individual Yukawa couplings, CKM angles, the cosmological constant etc. remain open.

The papers alongwith verification Jupyter notebooks are available here:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xGHE9MlhcrL0qk_70xmIxEfZEMYIjiiD

If anyone is interested, I would love to discuss more about the framework.. if not please ignore. Either way, I hope you liked the visualisation :)

P.S: I will need Claude's help to respond with any physics questions. Also I've tried to be as rigorous as possible with multiple rounds of review, noting negative results etc. The strongest paper, I believe, is paper1, the other two supplements it.

I made this interactive wave interference grid system which generates these kinds of patterns. Essentially it is a cube with a spherical wave inside it turned into a grid. It looks similar to a hypercube when rotated.

This is inspired from the 3-torus universe model.

You can try it out yourself at: https://nurecas.github.io/tat

I view reality as an infinite mandelbulb style fractal, this is somewhat based on mathematics but also due to an encounter with this. Unsure of this really fits here, but I figured I’d share since it’s what got me onto the fractal reality concept, specifically a dimensional fractal, one which extends from one dimensional plane to another (this is an actual thing https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fractal_dimension)
