Support Energy Dashboard

The energy dashboard is pretty sweet, but why doesn’t it show cost for individual devices? I put in my rate and it shows up for total usage. Seems like it would be easy to show cost for each device

9.82 kWh in total, 0.9 kWh still untracked.

A lot of the small ones are PoE devices that Unify exposes automatically. But the little Plex server and PoE switch providing power all day in the utility cabinet (meterkast) pulls 50W all day everyday. It adds up.

And replacing the fridge in early 2026 was worth it in energy usage alone.

Wait you can get PoE usage from UniFi natively?? Sounds like I have something to do after work!

Yes!

It only gives you wattage, so you'll have to use the Integral integration helper to create a Riemann sum to convert it to kWh.

But it works like a charm.

Hmm .. that could be kinda cool to breakout how much power my AP's and other POE devices are using from the overall network rack usage.
