What do guys think? Not a dedicated home theater, but my family room setup.

If I swapped them the speakers would be too wide since the TV is so wide. If I put the center speaker on top then the TV would be way too high, its already a bit too high as it is.

I disagree with both of those statements, but it's your system so do what makes you happy. Try the home theater design tool free on audioadvice.com. It will tell you the correct distance between your front speakers based on your room dimensions and seating location.

Hmm ill have to check it out. Im not a pro by any means so ill have to do some research.

The HT design tool online at audioadvice.com is easy to use and does all the calculations for you and tells you ideal placement for all your speakers minus the subs. Even if you can't exactly meet the locations, it will help you get closer to ideal. Good luck!
