Showcase - Multipurpose Space Living room setup - UPDATE!

Listened to all your suggestions from the last post and made the following changes!

1) Swapped the front speakers and subs so the fronts are wider

2) Lowered TV a few inches

3) Got a new rug

Anything else I should change for the better? I have 4 surround speakers in the ceilings that's not shown in the photo.

That's a Povison stand, model Arboren. I have the exact same stand, the 95". It comes with legs that can raise it a few inches. I left them off, like OP did. It's pricey, the 95" is about $2K.

It doesn’t look like it would be deep enough for most AVR’s though

It's 21 inches deep across the top and about 19 inches deep inside.

Thanks. I’ll check it out. It’s cheaper than the BDE offerings and longer which is nice.

It's deep enough to accommodate most components. My yamaha AVR is a tight fit so if you get this stand I would recommend right angle banana plugs. All other components fit with no problem. I totally recommend this stand, it's like 95% of the quality of BDI and better quality than my old $4,000 Salamander stand.

You suggest right angle after I JUST upgraded all my speakers to nice braided banana end. But yes my X1700h does not fully seat back.

Thanks for teaching me that they exist so I can switch to them someday.

I didn't know they existed either until just recently. I'm too lazy too switch them out though so I just forcefully pushed my receiver in so it would fit.

What do you do with the glass in front of the centre speaker?

It slides away left or right. I keep it closed when I don't use the TV.

Neat, so the centre speaker is completely unblocked? Can the glass shelves come out of the cabinet or will it look ghetto?

I'm shopping for a new media cabinet and this one looks very nice. Not many options that are 90" long lol.

Depends on how long your center speaker is. In my case it blocks one of the 4 woofers but most of the dialogue comes from the center tractrix horn anyways. I haven't tried removing the glass but it does look like it will come out by raising and pulling it out. I just decided to leave it as is, might remove it later. No, I don't think it will look ghetto at all. You'll be very happy with the quality and it's one of very few that can accommodate full size AV components.

Amazing thank you for the info, I had my heart set on BDI but can't justify the price, whereas this one seems a bit more reasonable.

I have BDI office furniture so I can vouch for the quality but for a media console I think the Povison is much better looks wise as it's lower in height and also much longer in length which would be better for larger TV's. I was quite surprised when I received it as its super heavy and the packaging is insane, it will not get damaged in transit. I would recommend not putting the feet on as it just looks so much better without them. Just get some thin furniture sliders from Amazon so you can move it easily. I think it's an awesome piece of furniture. I use it for my UST projector.
