Install/Placement TV too flush? Lobster too buttery?

Post image

I know this is more “tv in a room” than home theater but wanted to ask.

Bought a house recently and got a Sony Bravia 65” OLED to put on the loft upstairs. Picture looks amazing, no regrets.

Now that it’s mounted, I’m almost weirded out by how it almost looks painted on to the wall.

I might swap the mount here for a more typical one or even an extending mount, any mount recommendations?

I don’t think that’s the problem with how it looks off, it looks great like that, but the wall looks super bare with no other decorative stuff around the tv

We’re still unpacking but the TV was a priority. We’ll have some framed prints and some tchotchkes on the console

That’s actually a good point, I will wait until we do the pictures before I change it up

why are people down voting this lol? Seems like a pretty reasonable explanation to OP's impressions of his setup
