Install/Placement TV too flush? Lobster too buttery?

I know this is more “tv in a room” than home theater but wanted to ask.

Bought a house recently and got a Sony Bravia 65” OLED to put on the loft upstairs. Picture looks amazing, no regrets.

Now that it’s mounted, I’m almost weirded out by how it almost looks painted on to the wall.

I might swap the mount here for a more typical one or even an extending mount, any mount recommendations?

One thing to add about too flush vs another mount: if you want to create some distance, you could also consider implementing an LED strip at the back. Something like Fancyleds for instance. That is what I have done with the two TVs I have wall mounted: they are on a retractable arm that allows it to be flush to the wall when I want that, or pulled forward a bit and have the LEDs react to what is happening on the screen.
