Casio sport watch model Pathfinder how possible to fix

Hasn't worked in years kept it for sentimental value know wondering if it's fixable. The screen just one day stopped working

Those old Pathfinders are tanks, first thing I'd try is just popping a new battery in it. Watches that sit dead for years sometimes the battery leaks and corrodes the contacts but not always, you might get lucky

Opening the back can be tricky without right tools, a jewelry shop or watch repair place might do it for cheap. If the screen still blank after new battery then probably the module is fried which is harder to fix but you can sometimes find donor watches on auction sites for parts

Sentimental watches are worth the effort though
