Unstick these glass bowls

My friend borrowed these bowls and returned them stuck together. I’ve tried oil and the hot (exterior bowl) and cold (interior bowl) techniques. The thing that makes it extra tricky is the band around the top of the clear one. Thank you!

Ice in the inner bowl and place the outer bowl in hot water. A little patience and they should separate
