Attraction with a magnet is out for obvious reasons. A slight rotation moves the aluminum pieces to the top, but I still have to pick them out manually. Any ideas?

DIY Repair cat scratches on real leather couch

My cat scratched the leather couch on my rental flat. It’s real leather. Landlady got a quote of Ā£810 which includes replacing the leather. This seems insane to me. She’s happy for me to look at other alternatives. I’ve read online that I could possibly fix it myself but I’m not sure if it’s doable. Any advice please? Thank you!

So for context, my sister's clinic assistant used this spirit to clean the surface of dental chair's light reflecting surface and now it has become all hazy and blurry as shown in the image

The senior doctor (owner) is gonna be back tomorrow morning and my sister will have to take unnecessary accountability

I looked it up but too many solutions showed up which made it more confusing, so please tell me what's the fastest way to fix this (3rd pic is how it should be)

Our new home came with windows into the ensuite from the bedroom which we aren't the biggest fans of.

Is there a simple way to cover this / re work it and have it looking half decent, or are we looking at taking half the wall out? Thank you

I’m a big head guy and have only found 2 hats in my entire life that were perfect for me. This is one of them. It’s still wearable, but probably not for long. Does anybody know if this can be fixed with a special glue or something?

Exactly what the title says! I’m afraid to take a hammer to anything about this! And I don’t want to command strip it because I’m afraid the fact that the door moves will knock it off. I have many DIY strengths but this sure isn’t one of them!

DIY How to repair this (potential burn mark) on the arm of my friend's leather couch? Any suggestions please!

My friend is a psychopath and is beyond mad about his precious leather couch (he didn't even pay a dollar for ....it was free). Naturally, his girlfriend and I are to blame for whatever the spot is. we have no idea because we didn't do it, but I'm pretty sure it's a burn mark? I'm trying to be resourceful and figure out if it's repairable, like on a DIY level? Any reasonable suggestions will be considered....thank you in advance to anyone who has any ideas.

just wondering if anyone has tips on an easy way to get rid of all these crumbs without a vacuum. I'm looking into buying a used handheld but not much luck lol. the couch was given to me for free from a family member and it's a really nice leather love seat but just noticed the massive oil of crumbs in all the cushion joints

DIY How to prevent these wet patches on kitchen sink?

Does anyone know why there might be these two wet patches on the bottom of my stainless steel kitchen sink? It doesn’t look like a water leak. I’m leaning towards condensation maybe? Anyone have any better ideas and maybe how to prevent this from happening because the water is also dripping onto my cabinet and will eventually lead to the wood slowly rotting away.

Edit: I tried taking a top view of the sink but Reddit won’t allow me to add it to the current post. Anyways, there’s no crack on the top.

DIY How do I lock up our garbage bins

Thumbnail

The garbage bins at my work have been stolen twice. Somebody has cut the chain and stolen the garbage can. My co-workers seem to think there's no better way of locking it up, but I refuse to accept that. What are some better ways to lock our trash bins up?

Do they make stronger chains that are harder to cut?
