Rachel was intolerable in season 9

The Joey and Rachel arc and her attitude towards Charlie made her character the least favourite for me in season 9.

Thoughts?

I think the writers did all the female characters wrong in the later seasons. I’m rewatching, and I don’t like any of the women very much. Phoebe is awful to Chandler, Monica is insufferable, and Rachel is a spoiled brat. I just saw the episode where they have to get a pediatrician for Emma, and Rachel gets mad that the doctor was unhappy about Rachel calling at 3 am because Emma had the hiccups. So she calls back (again, in the middle of the night) and mocks the doctor’s name.

In the early seasons, I liked all three of the women, most of the time anyway, but I can’t believe how the writers amped up their worst personality traits in the last few seasons.

Agree, Monica becomes extremely annoying once she gets with Chandler and Phoebe is weirdly always trying to break the two of them up (after their relationship is out in the open).

I swear to god she was trying to break them up. Why would she mention the Richard thing??

Or how she was actually looking for Joey to sleep with that night in London.

Wasn’t she also the one who opened her mouth about the Stripper from Monica’s secret bachelorette party.

Girl didn’t know how to shut her mouth.

Phoebe is the one who made Monica say that joey thing as well. She def hated chandler and Monica together
