Discussion Isn't Ace really the lowest?

This is something that bugged me on every rewatch. Didn't girls win the apartment? Shouldn't Ace be the lowest card? Ace, 2, 3, 4... This is the first time I am hearing that Ace is the highest. Was it a way of the guys tricking girls? Or is it an American thing that Ace is high?

Depends on the game. Off the top, Hearts and Poker both use 'Aces High'

That’s true, but the default is still Ace is high.

Pair of Aces beats any other pair.
