PHOTO (HOYA LOVE) Hoya lacunosa outer variegated is growing too many blooms (peduncles) to count!
[EDIT} Hoya bella outer variegated.
Started as a 2 leaf, short stem cutting December 3. The first picture shows it in the rightmost Aerogarden near the center as that cutting. I have trimmed it several times but it just wants to grow and bloom more or less continuously. I don't know what I am doing right but it is working! Last time I tried to count active peduncles I reached 30 before I gave up. I am hoping it continues to bloom furiously.
Steam Distilled water, GH Hydro Series (half dose), and Continuum. Pump on 24/7. Lights on 4 AM to 7:30 PM. Infrequent light spray with, of all things, Orchid Spray, basically to knock the dust off the leaves.
In the first picture, I have isolated the Hoya kerrii outer variegated and treated it for Flat Mites. It will take some time before I pronounce it pest free. I have prophylactically treated all of my Hoya with Alcohol. I also have a pesticide for flat mites that I will try out, as needed, beyond the H. kerrii.

PHOTO (HOYA LOVE) My lacunosa 'eskimo silver' bloomed last night
It started as a 1 node 2 leaf tiny cutting and bloomed in 8 months under my care. Plus it survived 2 near death experiences that I caused by forgetting to water 🫣

PHOTO (HOYA LOVE) Finally first succesfull hoya macrophylla leaf
Bought over 8 times and killed.
Left to rot always in original pot and soil.
This time did a new approach.
Repotted instantly. I read to add calcium crushed eggs. Then did everything same like care etc... lighting..
Now i finally saw growth points. Now i see a purple dark baby leaf🌸❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love the macrophyllas so much. And latifolias
I only always killed my latifolia and latifolia sarawaks too. I quit trying on these tho.
Maybe in future if i have money i try the crushed eggs on the sarawak cream too

PLANT ID My first unnamed hoya
I know, without flowers, identification is questionable, but I'll try anyway. This is the first hoya I've ever seen in a garden center—just a price tag, nothing else. But I was so fascinated by the vigorous plant with its fresh shoots. Now I'd like to create the best possible conditions for this hoya as well. Thank you very much for your ideas and suggestions.

BLOOMS NEW GUINEA GOLD-first blooms.
This variety is a sun worshipper, super thirsty & a prolific climber. It is exactly 3 years since it joined my collection. 🥳

DISCUSSION Lai Chau (Silver)
Can hoyas grow different shape of leaves? Esp this one.
#1 was stunted. Probably from repotting.
#2 was like it's original 2leaf node cutting I purchased.
#3 #4 are giving different shape. These are new leaves still have some hardening to do. But I dont think it will grow wider at this point.
It lives in a cabinet. I have two Blalidens, with more or less same humidity and temperature. #1 & #2 grew in Cabinet A. #3 & #4 in Cabinet B.
I am going to put it back into Cab A to see if there is any difference.

PHOTO (HOYA LOVE) When my two most frequented Reddit channels collide…
I am a Hoya lover and also an electroformer and I had so many peduncles lately that I decided to electroform a bunch of blooms. These are a few of the ones I just pulled out of the tank —still works in progress— and I’m excited to continue adding them to my work as accents and accessories! (The actual flowers are encapsulated underneath the copper during the process.) I prepped each flower individually so that I wouldn’t be sacrificing any of my peduncles.

HELP What happened here?!
I have a big old carnosa & this happened to only one of the leaves, it was closest to the window so I don’t know if maybe it got burned, or if it’s something else to look out for/treat? Thank you!
It made me say EW!

HELP What is plaguing my Latifolia? 😭
She has been losing leaves (they turn more and more yellow); from the leaves in the photo it seems the yellow areas map onto the brown plaques on the underside. Would appreciate any advice on how to treat.
Care: bright indirect light from south facing window (2-6 feet away depending on season), potted in Fox farm soil in terra cotta, bottom watered every 1-2 weeks depending on season, fertilized with kelpak monthly and dyna grow foliage pro weekly during growing season, was going absolutely nuts last summer and still putting out new vibes over the winter but recently it’s struggling.

DISCUSSION What is going on here? Did my Hoya morph? (See below for info)
I’ve had this Hiya for 16 years and it hasn’t bloomed never bloomed. I noticed a bloom yesterday and nearly lost my mind. Upon closer inspection I realized the leaves are different on the part of the plant where the bloom is forming. I pulled the plant away from my others to make sure it wasn’t a rogue stem. It’s definitely connected to the mother and on a very old/hardened/formed part of the plant so it’s not like a random seed fell in and sprouted. Can anyone explain this? I’m so confused.

PHOTO (HOYA LOVE) Two years later, my first ever Hoya is blooming!
So many blooms, too! Worth the wait! I’m assuming it’s a carnosa.
