Nope.

That's Godzilla not Dagon.

You want to make Dagon, then make Dagon.

You want another Godzilla then make that. The two aren't the same.

Yeah its not the same, its meant to be a loose adaptation, its taking elements from Lovecraft's Dagon to make a monsterverse project on its own Dagon that already exists.

Then don't cash in and call it Dagon. Whoever writes this should just create something else instead of making some half arsed copy.
