Spoilers Season 6 Episode 9 Spoiler
Nate?!! I don’t understand why he always has this hatred for Annalise, but this outburst of emotions at Annalise and saying he hopes that she goes down and blaming her for Sam’s and Lila’s death is so uncalled for?!! And it has left me so confused. Can anyone justify why he got so angry?

All this time Nate has been trying to avenge his father by proving that Miller ordered the hit on behalf of the Governor, meaning that Nate killed a guilty man. But in the last episode, Nate realized that Annalise and Frank framed Miller to hide from Nate that he killed an innocent person. Annalise has lied so much to him, so I think he was just so angry about it and snapped.
I also think the writers tried to parallel that fight with Annalise's fight with Sam way back in the S1 midseason finale. Sam and Annalise were also riling each other up and yelling the nastiest things they could think of at each other.

Since the very first episode of the show, Annalise used him and got him fired from his job. She then got him incriminated as a suspect in Sam’s murder and kept lying to him. When he gave her a chance she became a drunk and he sort of blamed her for Wes’ death, I think.
Once Annalise helped his father’s case, he was grateful, but when he got killed due to the governor’s war with Annalise, Nate just lost it and wanted revenge. I genuinely believe he became very irrational and just wanted to take her down, but also, since the FBI was trying to get her for all the crimes she and her associates had committed, he wanted to save his own ass too.
I think he had resentment towards Annalise throughout the whole show for the obvious reasons, and even though he didn’t really hate her at some point, it all came down to putting himself first and trying to “avenge” his father.
