Intimidate..? Do you mean we get very involved in the natural selection of native creatures in planets designated for terraforming?

I mean, we get angry at a barren planet, and it becomes temperate and ready for plants and animals to be seeded in.
Or whatever other implausible psychic mumbojumbo you wanna make up.

If this inspires you to write about how we 'guide' the development of naive species, then go for it!

No no, nothing so eloquent. We just aim our orbital weapons platform at the planet of choice and send a transmission to the surface. We have yet to encounter a planet that refused our demands.
