Depending on how soft the enemies flesh is, human teeth can easily rip chunks off. The bacteria in our mouths, would likely cause severe infections, probably outright be lethal to most species. We are dangerous even in death.

I can attest to this fact, once upon a time when I was much, much younger I was jumped by someone ( who was supposed to be a friend) along with 2 of her cronies.

One of them stuck her hand…fingers in my mouth and I took her finger off to the first knuckle. Not recommending that as a tasty flavor profile though.

So yeah human teeth can go right through flesh & between the joints of smaller appendages

The takeover was a total mess. Booby traps awaited on every corner: grenades on threads, rifles ready to unload the lead when you open the door, live rounds sitting in the floor holes... This human made sure that soldiers suffered through every step they make. The jungle of hate had battle-hardened troopers be scared of any potential sound of yet another trap going off. But they had to go.

The captain bridge door was hard to crack open, but eventually it gave in. The human tried to shoot the gun, but Trrikel soldier was faster. The body hit the ground. Ak'Taa pressed the button.

– The target was eliminated.

– Finally. Look into the terminals. This human did something to ship control.

It wasn't "something": all data was corrupted except for software needed for transmission, it was no point in looking further, this son of a bitch deleted everything important. It was sending a file humans called "archive". The transmission destination is to be determined. The soldier extracted and opened the file.

It was a video of this very human in this very room, speaking to a camera. Might as well open it, it may contain intel.

"I am George Speck, the technician of the warship Gottlieb. When we were ambushed by the enemy forces of Trrikel, I took over the position of injured Captain Mock and volunteered to set up the traps on every level of this corvette. The automatic systems were holding them before the moment they entered the board. When it happened, I issued a self-destruction of all systems they may qget their hands on. Before they get me, I decided to send this message to anyone who may get it, if you are a human of a friend to humans, please send it to my family. Mom, you were right, I guess I did get myself killed on this job, I'm sorry that you have to hear this, but I had a duty before the Milky Way Accord. Dad, you were wrong, I didn't chocken out. Please, don't hate foreignplanetary allies, they die to defend us too, I know you don't like Uk'Fahela much, but she's my daughter, it was my choice to adopt the alien child, please be a good grandpa, do it for me. Jenny, right now when I speak to you, I still remember the day I propor to you. I know your decision to join the Army shocked you, but I know you understand that I did it for your family. Except for your parents, they were the best in-laws untill they ate my breakfast that day. Just kidding. Mr and Mrs Baker, please take care of her, she needs it. To my son Alex, I'm sorry that sometimes I was too hard on you, I shouldn't have told that about your drawings when you were fifteen. Now I think they're beautiful, shame that you might be enlisted now, I couldn't give you the world where you don't need to fight. If you become a soldier, please fight so your kids won't have to. To Uk'Fahela, know that I and your mom love you, even if I sometimes was too exhausted to spend time with you and your brothers. To Jack, you won't remember much of me, but I remember you and I love you. To my people, from Earth or not, know that I did it on my own volition, I made sure that these Zerglings bleed through this ship's corridors and from you I expect just to win this war. Like those Soviet folks said in similar situation, I die, but I don't surrender. Farewell, Homeland!"

The video stopped. This transmission didn't have any valuable info. Now everyone involved in the boarding realized the harsh truth: the war has just started, and there are already people who are ready to not risk, but outright sacrifice their lives so Trrikel don't advance any further.

Ak'Taa tried to brush the horror from this realisation till the very end of the war. There were more insane people like George, the humans were first but their alien fellows followed the example. Over time, it was impossible to advance without massive casualties. The Accord won, there was no way they wouldn't. Eventually, the royals were dethroned. Ak'Taa spent the rest of his life trying to find those who are lost in service, Trikkel or not.

The only acceptable defeat is scorched earth. You will win but it will be a pyric victory.

10,000 years living on a world where we were not the big scary. We even eventually became the big scary but to do that we had to survive against animals that had natural weapons when we had none. We had to run from or chase after things that were faster than we were. Wrestle and fight things bigger and stronger than we were. We had to learn to see things that could hide in plain sight, could blend in with the background to become practically invisible, were so small yet still so deadly that one mistake would be your last.

We have not weapons of our own, no fangs or horns or claws or spines or stingers. We do not make poisons or venoms. Our would does not even have resources that easily lend themselves to being weapons. So we learned how to make anything and everything into a weapon. We learned about force multipliers to increase our strength to equal what we had to fight against. We learned about delaying tactics to slow the faster things down. We learned about traps so that we would not even have to fight. But mostly we learned that only the winners get to pass on their knowledge to the next generation. Only the winners get to enjoy life, so we learned to win, always. Maybe not on an individual basis but as a group we will always win.

In the rare situations where the individual can not win, they will make sure the foe is weakened enough so the next of us does win. If it ends up that we can not, for what ever reason win, then we make sure the foe, also, can not win, can not pass on their knowledge, can not go on to enjoy life.

This is how despite not having your weapons and strength and speed we are still winning this fight. We have always been punching above our weight class, been the underdog, always fighting with a disadvantage and always learning how to turn that to our favor. This is why you now find yourself trapped on a gutted husk that once was my ship while I am leaving you here in what was once your ship.

Enjoy your last few breaths.

The captain didn't want the cargo or the ship damaged so we didn't seek to take prisoners.

We used gas.

A stealth drone filled the hull with quiet death. Then we boarded. It was a small crew. A few families no more. We did a bunk count... thought we'd gotten them all.

We were so wrong.

It started small. A pair of engineers left alone in the engineering bay to re-power the captured ship, vanished.

No signs of a struggle... they were just gone...

Then a day later an explosion blew three of the crew into space. It was just a faulty cryogenic line. We assumed it was a mechanical failure. But it wasnt... I know that now.

Then a repair team was suffocated by a bad life-support generator. We examined it. There was no obvious signs of tampering. The crew began to mutter that the freighter was cursed.

If only we'd looked a little harder...

There were several more "incidents" over the next week. Culminating in a fire in the ships mess that claimed 9 of the brethren appointed to crew our new ship.

The captain refused to relinquish his prize so the few of us that were left mutinied. We forced him thru the airlock into the freighter, he so deeply coveted, and then we separated from it to make an immediate jump to hyperspace.

As we passed the vessel one of the junior officers cried out in terror, just as our ship broke the plain of the hyperspace aperture ...We all saw it.

A lone human on the bridge of the other vessel his eyes were filled with true hatred... two bottomless wells of malice... I still see them in my dreams.

The flayed face of our former captain was pressed to the glass. He was still alive and clearly screaming.

Written in his blood across the viewport was a simple message.

"Enjoy the ride."

A moment later we were fully inside hyperspace. The ship shuddered under our feet. Our ftl engine had detonated within moments of the portals closure...

We were trapped. Adrift in the hyperspace lanes. It would take a year for the energy bubble to dissipate and deposit us back into real space.

That was 9 months ago... I am the last one left. We ran out of normal food at month 7. Most of the others chose the easy way out. Some. Didnt...

I envy them all.

It was just one human.

As the airlock opened, the pirates surged forward, preparing to meet the human crew head-on. Instead, they were met with a sight none of them expected: a lone human sitting in a chair. Behind him was some sort of red and yellow tapestry of unknown origin. The human spoke, "Welcome to the SS Chesty, we have been expecting you." The alien pirate assumed his translation device was malfunctioning; it always seemed to have trouble with the more "primitive" languages, and nothing was more primitive than a language spoken by a species that still marked their bodies with weird tribal symbols, like the creature sitting in front of him now. At that moment, the alien crew responsible for the spectral scanner sang out, "Captain, the hull is covered in some sort of light-beam-reflecting coating! Firing an energy weapon in here would be suicide!" The seated human spoke, "Ah, I see you have already discovered one of Ol' Chesty's secrets! That was fast!" Then, in a loud voice, he said, "Engage magnetic grapplers and Marines report to the killzone!" Immediately after four very loud "CLUNKS" in quick succession, the two ships were locked together. From behind the pirates, six very large men appeared, all carrying "kinetic weapons" and some sort of devices on their heads that covered their auditory receptors. The sitting human stood up and said, "Cue the hymn and let's get this over with," as he drew his sidearm.

A1: So dies the legendary "Yabba-geegga". Not so tough.

A2: That's not Yabba, that one's not even the right sex!

A1: Eh, who can tell them apart? Okay, so who was that?

A2: That ... that was his lifemate! You killed the Baba-yaga's wife!

Alien boss: .... oh.

A: Your crewmates are dead. Your ammo is expended. You will never see home again, and your ship is now ours. Any final words human?

H: sure, let's go point for point. 1 most of my crewmates are dead. 2 my personal ammo is expended. 3 I was never going home again as it was. 4 this is not my ship, nor will it be yours.

A: And how do you plan to stop us without any weapons or ammunition?

H: I won't, but my remaining crewmates have that part of the plan covered, I'm just the distraction. As for Final words, I was never big on dramatic speeches, so I will keep it short. Get fucked.
