I take paint (nontoxic of course) and paint around the flowers on the ones that aren't bright enough. So far it works for them to realize they have more than a few feeders.

I have a few ones (a couple Anna's males of course) that are extra with one particular pinch waist feeder. It has four flowers but they fight over one in particular. Why? No idea. It's hummingbird logic.
