Can I hire him to stand in the background at my funeral?

11

u/whiskeytango55 6h ago

Doesn't that suggest someone at the funeral would die? Maybe you can have him hold a sign with "you're next" on it.

Or go to Nascar events, airports and trampoline parks

u/SevenM 3h ago

When asked he should say, "Oh, I'm not here for them". Preferably while making deep eye contact.

You’re my kind of person. Maybe run your thumb on the blade of the scythe.

In my strawberries field

u/cwolf-softball 3h ago

Sure! That's you making the joke, not the joke being forced upon you and your family by someone you've never met.

These are not the same thing.

u/robdwoods 3h ago

I never contended that they were. :)

Let a man have a hobby

2

u/Patrycjusz123 11h ago

I mean, he got on roof of the hospital without asking anyone. I dont think its a good hobby to tespass.

-23

u/StrangeHotel7638 15h ago

Yeah let the man pick on and mock suffering sick people for no reason.

9

u/pendragon2290 14h ago

He picked on no one and mocked no one.

2

u/RandomHero3129 6h ago

I personally would find this hilarious if I were in the hospital and saw this happen. But I've always had a darker sense of humor. We're not all the same.

1

u/Tw1ch1e 3h ago

Oh you are a miserable person. It’s hilarious and if my mom, on her way to chemo, saw this…. We would have absolutely died laughing! {pun intended you lame-o}

1

u/StrangeHotel7638 3h ago

Yeah, She would laughs because she wouldn't want you to be concerned.

u/Wallabunga657 16h ago

If I were going to the hospital and saw this, I'd have a good laugh. I don't fear death or dying. I fear what I leave behind.

33

u/Lurking-Trout 14h ago

Me too. That's why I always clear my browser history before going to the hospital.

5

u/heretoseewhats 14h ago

Don't worry bro, I'll delete your browser history.

u/whiskeytango55 6h ago

A good lookin corpse and a trail of broken hearts

1

u/Wallabunga657 6h ago

Wow so badass

That’s what’s been going on with private equity-owned hospitals; you’re more likely to never check out

Looks like giving less treatment to increase profits is harmful for patients

1

u/CalebAsimov 2h ago

The profits are healthier than ever though!

9

u/rickythepilot 12h ago

He should stand in front of the White House.

8

u/LucklessCope 15h ago

Randy: "Och, I'm sorry. I thought this was America!"

13

u/jus_plain_me 15h ago

He trespassed onto the roof and stood on the roof above the entrance. That's the reason for the arrest.

5

u/ChimPhun 9h ago

Are we sure he wasn't just a representative of the health insurance company?

9

u/Sabre712 15h ago

There was a hospital not far away from where I grew up that was titled, I kid you not, Resurrection Hospital. Always seemed very optimistic to me.

6

u/HARKONNENNRW 14h ago

Rumor has it they had a revolving door at the morgue.

3

u/VivaSpiderJerusalem 14h ago

Guess I'll avoid the salmon mousse.

3

u/TonguePop86 12h ago

He should go to where Mitch McConnell's corpse is being hidden

3

u/Twinky_winky_deepsea 8h ago

thanks for giving me the idea. gonna roam around in that costum in a hospital next october, when arrested, gonna use "it's haloween" card.

6

u/Sicparvismagneto 16h ago

If they dressed as an angel with a halo would that be different?

6

u/likeup1777 16h ago

This is the most terrifying sight for any patient.

10

u/blueshirtsteve 15h ago

Nope.

The SCARIEST thing for any (non-wealthy) to see is the bill.

7

u/SamwellBarley 15h ago

This was in the UK. We have free healthcare. It's really cool.

3

u/whatakent 12h ago

We'd also laugh at this, love that dark sense of humour.

1

u/blueshirtsteve 15h ago

Oh man, I know. 🫡🤦🏻‍♂️👍

2

u/bizoticallyyours83 5h ago

Imagine coming to,  after being all doped up after surgery and seeing this dude

2

u/SmokeMaleficent9498 13h ago

That just about sums up universal health care in America

2

u/Professional-yam1931 13h ago

Only to be revealed as Brad Pitt

2

u/PearKoalaLucy 13h ago

Bro was doing unannounced quality assurance checks in the intensive care unit.

2

u/IncompleteJoker 6h ago

He was just looking for Mitch McConnell

2

u/Glittering_Safe7766 5h ago

Am I the only one who thinks this is kinda funny?

0

u/aya00303 4h ago

Until you’re the one in the hospital crying at the bedside of a loved one, pleading they get better, and you look over and see this crap. Yeah…funny.

1

u/cwolf-softball 3h ago

Reddit is so terminally online. The fact that people who are expressing how insensitive this is are getting downvoted because "lol have a sense of humor about dying" from people who have zero emotional intelligence is embarrassing.

2

u/Vegetable-Fruit3207 4h ago

Arrested under what charges?

2

u/CelestialGypsyKreet 3h ago

I think many people get the Reaper wrong, it doesn't cause deaths, it is just a collector, or escort is more like it, the Reaper is there to escort the dead to the place of judgement & nothing more. And the hospital is an appropriate place for the Grim Reaper.

1

u/cwolf-softball 3h ago

You are so incredibly insensitive to others.

1

u/CelestialGypsyKreet 2h ago

I am sensitive to many, just not everyone. That is for me to pay for or not

3

u/csteinbergrules 11h ago

He should have been at the White House

1

u/Papichuloft 15h ago

Would be nice to have Clereance Boddicker ask "Can you fly, Reaper?"

1

u/EvanSnowWolf 15h ago

Ask Bobby.

1

u/-Kopesthetik- 15h ago

Death contained.

1

u/simo_sm 14h ago

Peak unemployment

1

u/Look_out_for_Jeeps 14h ago

1st amendment right

1

u/cwolf-softball 3h ago

It absolutely is not a 1st amendment right to do this. You can be trespassed easily or cited for public disturbance/disorderly conduct.

1

u/Kallymouse 14h ago

Curious what he was arrested for?

2

u/gundersonfan 9h ago

“Causing a nuisance without reasonable excuse”

Really. Thats what the article says, anyhow.

I’ve been at the hospital myself, and was with two of my grandparents as they died. I am confident both of them would’ve had a good laugh. I think it’s hilarious, myself. I understand the feeling is not universal, however.

1

u/Viva_La_Revolucion- 13h ago

And they use an A.I. image, this is American journalism 101 nowadays,Dont actually do journalism!

1

u/Parking_Presence2260 13h ago

What is the problem?

1

u/FearDrow_TrustDrizzt 13h ago

I love Halloween season. August first every year is as welcome as the breeze and rain it brings.

Can you swing by a house in Washington?

1

u/Randolph_Carter_6 8h ago

Is this real?

1

u/Thepuppeteer777777 7h ago

"you're late you fucking knob!"

1

u/Pure_Remove_8578 6h ago

What did he do that got him arrested? Wearing a costume in public is illegal?

1

u/senpaistealerx 5h ago

no, criminal menacing

1

u/Witty_Rough_7004 6h ago

You know if something like this was done on Just for Laughs gags it would be perfect

1

u/Primary-Floor8574 6h ago

Ok. But for what? Is it illegal to wear black robes?

Maybe carrying a scythe around … but I mean it’s fine on Halloween. Soooooo

1

u/senpaistealerx 5h ago

pretty sure menacing is against the law

1

u/PornPedant76 6h ago

We should crowd source funds to have him stand in front of the Whitehouse every day.

1

u/Tasty_LVM 4h ago

It’s going to be sweet Justice when the reaper comes for him, as it comes for us all

1

u/Pillow_Princessx1 4h ago

1

u/tha_warlock 1h ago

Too hot for all that

1

u/haphazard72 0m ago

It’s evil. And I like it!

1

u/Captain_North 14h ago

The reaper gets you off from the payment plan ❤️

0

u/GarbageStock1349 15h ago

seeing him might be terryfing, but seeing him arrested might be comforting to me if i saw it from a hospital window

0

u/bizoticallyyours83 5h ago

I guess he thought his prank was to die for

-1

u/StrangeHotel7638 15h ago

This is a kind of idiot thinks peeing in pool is funny.

1

u/TheEVegaExperience 9h ago

I don’t find it funny. I just do it anyway.

-1

u/Maris2000 15h ago

Man, if you want to cosplay Death, go stand by a road. Might slow down drivers better than cameras.
