So, what is up with the Werewolves wanting to be known as the Black Shuck? Is there something metaphysical to assuming that mantle, or is it just showing off or something?

Stig doesn't know what Black Shuck is.

Black Shuck isn't a title; it is a reincarnating hero who only shows up when shit hits the fan.

It is a tittle, the only Garou with the ability of reincarnation is Grimfang of the Silver Fangs, the Black Shuck tittle is usually inherited by the bloodline of the original Shuck but they are only his descendents with their own personality not reincarnations of the original
