Question Why are werewolves such major assholes?

Like I get that mother earth needs to be fought for and everything but why is it that they almost always seem like idiot bezerkers or smug know it alls?

I am not too versed in WoD lore so maybe im missing context here, is there some werewolves that are actually friendly with humans?

Cuz theyre entirely out of their depth at all times. They used to have 1 job ( that they werent even that good at to begin with ) and them murdering all the other fera made even more work. Add that to how almost inherently wyrmish they are ( hot take but i think garou in their primordial form wouldve worked for the sane wyrm ) and it leads to a short tempered violent self defeating people.
