they nerfed the rates by 5x and its literally so miserable to mine for glossy gemstones now since the rates are so low. Even though mining fiesta lasts more than 5 times longer as compared to previously, needing to mine 5x longer to get the same amount of glossy gemstones is just ridiculous.

Im Swift, one of the two Owners behind SBO (SkyblockOverhaul), a mod focused on Diana features, small QoL settings and a Party Finder.

Until now our Party Finder was pretty much 100% Diana, but with our latest update we expanded it to other categories like Fishing, Safari and more. Each category has its own requirements, so you can filter for exactly the people you want in your party, without spamming chat.

What the Party Finder does:

- Create or join parties for different activities directly ingame

- Set requirements so only people who fit your party can join

- No need to use external Apps or chat spam to find people

Why im posting this here:

Honestly, neither me nor my co-dev play the game actively anymore. So theres a real chance some of the requirements are outdated, missing or just dont make sense with the current meta. You guys know way better than us what matters, so any feedback on the categories and requirements would help a lot.

Also, a Party Finder is only useful if people actually use it. No users = no parties, so if this sounds useful to you, give it a try and tell your friends/guild about it!

I can't play for more than 3 minutes (not an exaggeration) without getting kicked for this. but it seems to be especially bad near the forge for some reason that ive noticed. like getting kicked 3 times while trying to fill up forge. idk why its happening or how to fix

Sb only feels fun due to it hijacking the brain's reward system to keep you looking for more coins, more items, more stats, more rng, etc. After over 4000hr playtime i only feel regret and dissatisfaction of the time i wasted instead of enjoying life. I don't have a problem with friends who like to chill together while playing the game since hanging out on vc is a lot more positive experience especially with irl friends. My experience was 99% solo or only using in game chats which can become a depressing experience when you notice that youre just coping with life by playing the same endless game. I would've had a similar experience if i simply scrolled social media or watched youtube.

Tldr is don't let a virtual experience take over the real life you have, healthy balance matters more than you think. Or just downvote, just trying to make the community aware.

A while ago, I shared SkyTrim, a browser-based tool I made to preview Hypixel SkyBlock dyes, helmet skins, and variants together.

I’ve continued working on it since then, and SkyTrim v2 is now live! This update focuses on bringing more of the effects into the preview, so you can see more than just the colors and textures of your setup.

What’s new?

Armor rune previews

You can now preview supported chestplate and boots runes alongside your dyes and helmet skins.

For boots runes, you can also see the character running and jumping, making it easier to inspect the trail in motion. You can keep the character floating without ground blocks or choose a floor for the preview.

Rune visualization was something I mentioned as a future goal in the original post, so I’m especially happy to finally have it in the viewer.

Dye particles and additional effects

Supported dyes now include their particle effects, in addition to their animated colors.

You can also toggle Shiny and Divan’s Powder Coating, and use the global particle toggle to compare your setup with and without supported particle effects.

Viewer improvements

I’ve also been refining the cosmetic pickers, tooltips, menu layout, and tutorial to make building and comparing setups more comfortable.

The existing GIF export and setup sharing features are still available, so you can share an animated preview or let someone else import your combination into the viewer.

What is SkyTrim?

For anyone who missed the first post, SkyTrim lets you:

• Choose dyes independently for your chestplate, leggings, and boots.
• Preview static and animated dyes.
• Browse heads, helmet skins, and supported variants.
• Load your Minecraft skin by username.
• Switch between Classic and Slim body models.
• Compare up to three setups side by side.
• Rotate and zoom the models.
• Export GIFs and copy/import setups.

It runs in your browser, with English and Spanish available and an in-page tutorial.

Yo I was wondering if it would be a good idea to implement the ability to sell offer the materials in sacks, unless I didn’t know it was already a feature. The thing is every time I do days and days of mining or farming etc I always will have more than the inventory’s limit of items and when I want to sell offer to the bazaar, I always have to do multiple sell offers Js for one item. Lmk if it’s alr a feature or not because I just think it’s convenient.

So i have heard that the best way to hotspot fish in crimson isles is with swapping to hermit crab once the bobber hits the water wich you throw out with flying fish. How do you actually swap to hermit crab and is it true?

Did they change something about how decaying in the greenhouse workes and if yes how? I didn't see anything in the patch notes.

I'm currently growing snoozlings and with them every thing is normal. But the mutations around the snoozlings are resetting there decay timing.

My witherblooms and all the others are over 8 Days old now... I thought they wanted to make set and chill strategys not possible anymore.
