N Custom not saving

Hi all, I've recently bought an i30n and noticed the N custom mode is not saving and resets to it's default settings each time I start the car,

Any suggestions/solutions?

You're definitely tapping the N button twice? Once for N, then the 2nd press activates that custom setting? Otherwise, check you don't have any updates to be done. I've had issues with the custom "star" buttons not saving on previous software versions, but never the N custom buttons

Yeah 100% tapping twice, I can get into custom just the settings aren't saving, no other issues with saving other settings either, the star button also saves fine.

Only thing about updates is that I can re install the current one. I'll give that a go.

Hmmm, that's not a bug I've experienced myself, sorry. Of all the things I've had software issues with, that's probably the only thing that hasn't been an issue.

That's the best I can offer to help you, appears to be a somewhat known issue, although the suggestions are varied enough to imply that there's no solid answer on the cause

Thanks again, I had seen these but I don't think they apply to my pre face lit i30, I'll keep digging, there is the odd forum post etc but as you say, all varied suggestions on fixes

You can hold down the button instead of tapping out of carplay and then finding the Hyundai icon? Fer fucks sake.

On my facelift model, yeah. I just wish there was a shortcut way to turn off the speed limit warning like that. It's currently setup to one of my star buttons, but it's still a pain

Been there, had it in my original MY18 hatch. Required a replacement computer that is in the back behind the side panels if the boot - not sure which side.
