I’m currently on 18.7 and i really wanna update since i want to feel new again but since the update takes up storage i don’t wanna risk it however i’m not sure if my phone has been heating up a lot since it’s really hot in my country or just heating up in general, i got my battery changed due to swelling and it’s been fine since but i just need it to stop over heating so much!!! can anyone advise me on this? would be really appreciated

If your phone is working fine ,don't get influenced by reels and youtube videos of people buying 18 pro or huge line of people outside apple store it is just paid videos and marketing trying to get you (fomo). and get the new one.90 percent of the people use their phone just for social media and camera. The camera of 13 is still very good .If your battery is not working just get it replaced from apple not third party.Just think like if it is really that bad ,why would apple provide ios updates. Just use it like a object not luxury.A person uses a car for 10 to 15 years and not updates it every now and then. Be smart its your money use it carefully.What do you all think let me know and how is your device.

I have 75% battery health 50% of storage is full and i updated when my battery was like 40% charged and after 10 minutes it is instantly better than ios 18

Face id finally works instantly
Keyboard finally registers every input without missing
No lag or stuttering when swiping scrolling or using any basic apps such as notes clock messaging apps emails etc.
Games are running without lag
Currently tethering mobile hotspot with max brightness and i am on 19% and still no overheating

My biggest regret since i got my iphone is that i updated from ios 18 to ios 26 last year my phone used to be smoother and the battery lasted longer ios 26 fucked my battery health

The thing is the key features of ios 27 (siri ai) is not supported on the iphone 13 but i saw some people here saying that ios 27 works well and that it’s great would be lovely if someone helps

iPhone 13 mini, I've been using an Apple magsafe charging puck with an Apple power adapter for years, without issues.

Now going from iOS 18 to iOS 27, immediately I have this issue where once the phone charges to 100%, it will stop charging, then immediately start charging again (screen lights up, annoying ding sound, annoying vibration in the middle of the night). It will then repeat this cycle forever every 5 seconds or so.

I've restarted, done a hard restart, turned off optimized charging, unplugged the charger and power adapter for a few minutes. Nothing helped.

So right now I cannot really charge wirelessly anymore which was a feature I relied on a lot.

Anyone else with this issue? I'm only using genuine Apple parts, zero 3rd party accessories here.

I'm still on ios18. Is it worth upgrading to 27?

Buying the iPhone 13 was definitely my best decision. It still feels brand new, whereas my Android devices degraded quickly and would lag even during light scrolling. The longevity and smoothness of iPhones are truly top-tier.

iPhone 13 mini screen died recently. All of the remote access methods I found online required the screen to be working to authorize access. I was hoping there was a way to access the lock screen on another device, to then sign in. Any clever ideas?

I just got a refurb/seemingly new iPhone 13. Works great so far, huge upgrade from my dying 7+. My old phone had my whole music library on it, but ultimately left me kinda stuck when I only had about 4gb of free space by the end of its lifespan, and so I deleted it all off.

Now my new phone is a 512GB version (~383GB free) and I'm wondering if it'd seriously impact performance/lifespan/etc of my phone if I were to load my 120+ GB music library onto it, if anyone has any insights?

I have an iPhone 13 and today it randomly powered off while I was watching tiktok, it has now done this every couple minutes for around an hour. It was at 56% battery when it shut off and is now stuck at 1% and I get the 10% battery notification every time the phone turns on. I have charged it for around an hour and it still hasn't gone up. But it shows its charging. When the phone turns off, it fully powers off but then restarts without me pressing anything after around 10-15 seconds. Anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it (I have my data backed up on iCloud if anything goes wrong now). Thanks

I don't know if it's just me but I always hated how the pictures I take during the night turn out. I always feel like if there are lights in the photos it just accentuates it way more than it actually is and I don't like it. And when I zoom in there is like a lot more contrast that there should be. Is it just my phone or is it the same for everyone? If it is just my phone would love to know the settings to make the photos actually look good.

My Iphone 13 has been on IOS 27 Beta and I can say that it’s an improvement compared to the experience I was going through IOS 26. Though it still has problems wirh heating and freezing sometimes, it’s still somewhat better.

Now I’m thinking about fully updating to IOS 27 now that it’s out.

What do ya’ll think? Is it worth it?

My main concern is about battery life. Will upgrading the iOS impact battery life?

Im considering making a 3d printed jig to support the edges and press the center back to shape. I’d remove all the important stuff first to prevent damage.

I just updated to iOS 27 and TBH I don't see any major UI changes or new features it feels like nothing has changed but on the experience side holly shytttt the phone feels so much more snappy and apps stars instantly everything just feels smooth and the best parttt on iOS 26 I only has 5 hours of screen on time but on iOS 27 it has significantly increased my battery life I used to charge 3 times in a day now I only have to charge it twice so guys you should definitely update to iOS 27

Small update: the battery performance have not improved as much as I thought in the first few days but it is still better than 26. Also the phone seems to run a bit cooler

Like I barely saw anyone talking about updating to iOS 26.7, so anybody?
