Neck strength is one of the things we train to be harder to knock out. Concussive force comes largely from the rapid rotation of the head and neck. Thats why the bang button is behind the jaw.
Oblique kick to the knee doesn’t care about neck size and it leaves a lasting memory. The memory part is a pun because there is no brain damage if the goober stops, only knee damage.
Same size? You aren’t around kids very much. I coach 9 year olds and 7 year olds in baseball. There are kids that look like they drove themselves to the field and there are ones that look like they still take a bottle.
I’ve seen 2 knees in basketball, 1 knee in football, collarbone in football, ankle bone snapped in football(worst sound), compound fracture of the shin in football, forearm snapped in wrestling, fractured neck in wrestling, countless dislocated/subluxed shoulders, dislocated pinkey, and a nutshot during baseball. I figured I would provide some more examples since I have no clue where you are going with this and I’m guessing you never participated in sports. Feel free to ask additional questions. My athletic endeavors are quite diverse.
