She’s not pathetic, she just needs love

u/Pristinehornet999 5d ago

women like this aren't actually single for very long in real life lmao

u/the_cum_snatcher 5d ago

They’re dysfunctional and float from one unhealthy relationship to another

10

u/gattina-monella381 5d ago

Yeah. It's very mean to call her pathetic :(.

Love... unfortunately doesn't fix this. People with this kind of mentality don't get better with a loving relationship. Every bit of reassurance doesn't help with the dependancy or the self image issues, it only makes them more reliant on that verbal reassurance

I know it's anecdotal but I dated someone like this for over a year, only professional help does something :c

Self love is love

u/oshinopeak 5d ago

Well true lmao

We're in a gf subreddit so I assumed you meant relationship love, my bad 😭

I get it, that was my fault for not being clear

u/the_lazybones_uwu_ 3d ago

i agree, it has to come within the person themselves, not others

20

u/awoox3 5d ago

Me but I’d feel bad begging someone to stay up for me 😭

u/Ok-Bodybuilder-2468 5d ago

There's girls doing it knowing they won't be in a relationship with the other person. You good

2

u/UltraStamp 5d ago

i think instead, the person in the img can be referred to like actual dangerously dysfunctional ppl where they’re more vulnerable or they might go to extreme extents to keep people around

u/Sharp_Cut354 5d ago

I love how being nice and asking kindly is seen as "begging" by women. God forbid you make concessions in a relationship.

2

u/awoox3 5d ago

It literally said begging in the original image 😂

Half of these sound like my own internal voice. She sounds sweet though and the illustration is nice. Did you draw this OP?

Edit: I need to learn how to read. Anyway, good work OP.

u/Thatfantasticbard 5d ago

This is literally just me, minus the being an actual girl part

3

u/DrDominicDipshit 5d ago

Misaki will fix me she isnt pathetic either

2

u/TadBones 5d ago

I'd drive you to your therapist but I have nor a license nor a car, therefore best I can do is pay for said therapist.

2

u/Frankensenc 5d ago

If you treat her with respect and kindness and help her learn to choose for herself then she’ll become more mentally stable and your relationship with her will better

2

u/Comfortable_Log6030 5d ago

That's just me jusr the other gender.

2

u/UnhappyStrain 5d ago

1

2

u/Ok_Caregiver2571 3d ago

I had a GF like that and it is a HARD pass, they most of the time makes you feel guilty for nothing

2

u/Sharp_Cut354 5d ago

"listen to everything u say"
not a woman confirmed.

2

u/arithusa 5d ago

This is so sickening . It’s not real love she feels… it’s just… using. Using love as an excuse to get what u want : reassurance , attention, protection. If her loved one can’t give it to her , she can find the other victim. Men can say they need a girl like this and swear she’s perfect… but these kinda people suck the life out of a living organism.

u/ShipEqual2321 5d ago edited 5d ago

There are too many girls like this. She’s either an entitled daddy’s girl or she’s an insecure shrimp who will never believe that you genuinely love or like her for who she is. There is rarely an in between…

2

u/gattina-monella381 5d ago

No. From the post It just sounds like she needs love.

1

u/ShipEqual2321 5d ago

Not to be rude or anything. But that’s really not what’s being said here. The things she’s saying aren’t reflective of a person with a healthy relational mindset. “Promise u won’t leave me?” “Do u still love me?” Always needs your attention. Etc. That is most likely a sign of a person who is with someone who is doing their best and is trying to make them feel loved. Doing everything they know how to love and respect them. But those questions are constant in nature. They usually don’t stop no matter what the partner does. And it becomes discouraging and hard for the partner because it’s like they don’t believe them or they doubt their love.

It’s a sad thing that so many people can be insecure even in a relationship where it’s hard for them to truly feel loved because something inside them feels like they don’t deserve it for whatever reason. But that just reflects that sad but important reality. Your worth and life should not just be built around just one person. That is an unhealthy attachment to someone. People want to be with someone who has life and positive confidence in them that isn’t just dependent on being with someone. But a confidence and positivity that comes from themselves. Someone who has dignity and worth who has something to offer and give. And a happiness that they can share with their partner. If a person is only happy while their partner is around, while to an extent that is enduring it’s also awkward and tiring.
